I still think Chet’s injury was likely a freak thing, not a result of him being frail or whatever. I got that same injury once and never had any food problems before or after, and it’s not like skinny guys have some horrible history of foot bone injuries.
You had a Lisfranc injury that required surgery?

Didn't get surgery but might have if I was a serious athlete. Chet's might've been more serious (I didn't look closely at the diagnosis) but I was fully off my feet for 2 months.

A more interesting poll would be which rookie will most show better than his draft position?

Wemby only loses this if he has injury problems.

Historically speaking big guys have more trouble getting used to the NBA.

What is the path for Black to win ROY?

If the Magic are a winning team, it will help. If he's in a pack of players with similar stats, the nod usually goes to the player on the better team.

He's not a mega-stats player even if he gets minutes so tough road to hoe there. Probably take him translating his passing better than most expect (so that it's immediately pretty awesome), and obviously his shot needs to be better than expected too.

Also injuries. To guys like Wembanyama and also to guys on his team.

The guard logjam is a concern. Roadblock #1. His style of play is also a concern, as you point out.

My hope is all rookie 1st team. ROY happens and I'll be insufferable haha

If Scoot plays behind Lillard will he get enough minutes to win ROTY?

With his wingspan and strength, he may be able to play some SG. Plus, Lillard only plays around 50 games a year.

The way the Raptors are building their roster will have Grady Dick as a prime candidate for ROY.

He's intriguing if he can play SG.

Surprised that 60% thinks Wemby won't win ROY given the extensive hype he's been getting. I mean even here with the draft long over but his "Mega-Thread" is still stickied at the top of the General Board instead of the Spurs board where it should reside.

I played college football and had lis franc surgery. He will be fine. I’m more worried about his ankles or knees then lis franc again

I believe wemby will be a bust, not because he isn’t skilled but because his frame and 82 game durability
