Its Victors to lose, he has both the name recognition and the skills to get it.

I like Hendricks at +3500. Don't think he'll win, but if the Jazz improve a ton and he has numbers, he has a shot, and the odds are great.

Is he gonna play enough minutes? I heard something about his camp doesn't want him playing a lot of minutes a game.

Maybe I'm crazy tho

Quite the opposite. Word is that Wemby is proud of not missing games last season and has no intentions of being treated like a china doll. Supposedly he said he wants to play in every game

Wemby can put up numbers especially on a bad team, but I think defenses focusing on him all year will wear on him so I'll go scoot or chet

It's Victor's to lose but I could see Chet and Miller making a push if things break right for them. Scoot only has a chance if the Blazers decide to rebuild with him at the helm. In some other years I'd say someone unexpected (like Kessler and to a lesser extent J-Dub) may come in and make it a conversation based on impact on winning but it's usually difficult to be in the serious conversation when it's a class with good raw production at the top and I can see that being the case for this class (although Chet might be in the conversation with only decent numbers if OKC takes the next step and Chet anchors their defense).

Watch Anthony Black swooping in and stealing the ROTY award.

Jk.

It's Wemby. Unless he gets injured or [gasp] struggles a bit in his first year

If I didnt have my guy to cheer for, I would probabl;y take Brandon Miller bet. VW shouldnt be that much of the favorite.

That's pretty funny considering the rumor is he left his previous team because nba scouts told him not to grind a whole season of french league + euroleague + cups.
He's going to have to play almost twice the games this year, and eventually more mpg too.

I expect them to load manage Wemby and Holmgren.

The realistic long shot/great value bet is Brice Sensabaugh.

No. He left because he wanted the team to be constructed around him as the focal point and not used as a role player.

Funny considering he left AFTER Parker went public with his intentions of building the team around him.

Should be an interesting race. Charlotte has to play Miller because they need his shooting bad. There’s such of a huge range of outcomes for Miller though because Charlotte is trying to make the playoffs. Chet has the best shot with minutes right away on a good team. VW will have the numbers if he stays healthy and isn’t load managed. Unless Portland blows it up this summer Scoot won’t have much opportunity. For the betting odds, I’ll go with Chet and Miller, they are both good odds
