I'm a Trae fan, I think he's the most underrated player in the league. But isn't Hawks record better with only Murray than with him and Trae?

One would think they should make a decision on keeping either Trae or Dejounte although there may not be that much pressure until the 2025/26 season when Trae can threaten to not pick-up his player option the following season.

Hawks are 24-29 all time in the regular season with Young out (not to mention a playoff win). Exact same winning percentage as when he starts of .452 (183-221).

His impact has always been negligible to slightly negative save for about a seasons worth of his career when he actually rebounded the ball and forced isolations against slow footed Bigs (which are becoming extinct nowadays). If it isn’t glaring on the floor the metrics will tell you as well.
