Bucks dropping to play-in territory?

Post#1 » by schnakenpopanz » Sat Feb 24, 2024 4:32 am

They are only 4 games ahead of the Heat and Magic. They have the second toughest remaining schedule.

Prob Griffin’s fault. Imagine how much worse it would have been with him coaching.

Bucks and Suns being playin teams, possibly even missing the playoffs altogether, would be wild. They tried to build superteams, they were both the offseason hype trains, and now both are in big trouble.

Uhh they're about to win on the road against the #1 seed in the West.

Edit: they just did.

They should just bring Coach Bud back. He is on the payroll anyway. Sure it would be awkward at the beginning, like "Hey guys, here we go again". But I assume that the players appreciate him even more now and he had a well-earned break to recharge the batteries. I'm serious, bring him back.

Definitely agree. However I feel like Bucks would be the bigger shock. A lot of people saw the Suns struggles coming. Lillard and Giannis with that supporting cast seemed like a great fit.

Wtf are you people high the bucks ain’t dropping below 3 and I still think they pass Cleveland to get the 2 seed. Middleton will be back soon so our offense will be at full strength we are already a top 10 D with Doc as a coach.

Bucks coming off a really impressive road win against full strength Wolves last night by the way. They'll likely go in a top 3 seed and be an obvious contender, weird thread.

To be fair, the Wolves were playing handicapped with that ESPN glowjob. Positive media attention is our Kryptonite.

In all seriousness though, I agree this thread is absurd. While the Bucks roster construction does have issues (do they have any positive guard defenders in their rotation?) they're good enough to keep things close, after which they've got 2 superstars in Dame and Giannis who can take them over the top. Short of a major injury to either of those 2 there's no way this team drops into play-in territory.

I swear every time someone makes a mid-game thread dragging a team, the team ends up winning the game lol.
