Yep OKC Luka didn't play, the Mavs kept it close and nearly won that one.

Out of those 10 games, only 2 were playoff teams + GSW.

With that said, if you give Luka a good roll-man the roll-man just becomes an extension of Luka.

I think Gafford is actually very good. I agree with you as far as everything else you mentioned. The Mavs will get caught up signing some guys for more than they're worth.

After you high ball players like THJ and Maxi, you have to low ball some other players to keep the balance sheet, Nash and Brunson were a few of them...

Sabonis was limited to 12/11/9a/4to at 3/10 shooting, thanks also to Lively II. PJ also very impressive with 3s going in.

To be fair, check the rotation just after the All Star Break. **** Kleber was playing over Gafford while he indeed, was coming off the bench.

He had games with 3-5 minutes played, that's after he was VERY GOOD the first few games after the trade.

The fact the Kidd is this clueless is mindboggling. The Mavs dropped a bunch of games in that period, after that he finally came into his senses and started Gafford, and the winning streak ensued. Who would've thunk it?

I seriously thought Poole would be 25-30 a game this season.

There's no way he's as bad as he's played.

Maybe he never got over the Green sucker punch. Or maybe he stopped caring after he got the bag.

At one point, before the bag, he was known as one of the hardest workers.

I think Lively would still start hadn t he suffered that nose injury that kept him out for a few weeks. The mavs started rolling in his absence and that is why they kept Gafford in the S5. The change recently is that we constantly see 40+ mins of Gafford/Lively every game. Glad that the Mavs are not going small ball that much anymore.
