Someone now needs to let Gillespie know he’s not that guy

He’s a two way player who won’t be in the playoffs roster.

My Raptors are running out an active roster resembling the process Sixers. It’s something else man.

Hilariously, six straight weeks of tanking will have almost no effect on the lottery odds, because everyone is doing it simultaneously.

If only there was a legit way to prevent tanking, which, would concurrently curb expansion talks.

Oh well, let's focus on scrapping All Star Weekend, adding an idiotic in season tournament, making a restrictive CBA and, one day, we can have a third in season tournament with the same teams!

If the bench is a minus 3 or less in the fourth Nuggets win if not it is over.

When people say the West is "wide open", games like this are a strong indicator. The Nuggets are one Jamal Murray sprained ankle away from an upset. Which wouldn't have necessarily been the case in the past if they had Monte Morris.

But there is just a massive gap between Murray and Reggie/CB. They're not consistent enough shooters and teams just play off of them.

I'd be pretty pissed too if I got blocked on a game winner

He had a guy jump into him and cause contact leading to that weak throw-up attempt that was blocked.

He got fouled and refs confirmed it was missed after the game.

Spurs, Blazers, Memphis, Wizards, Hornets and Raptors are just straight into the tank and of course Detroit does Detroit things.

I looked at the boxscore - who is Javon Freeman-Liberty? Never heard of him and I feel like I know every player in the league

The best closing team vs the worst. Let’s see if Murray being out matters.

Great job by Phoenix so far.

Denver:

* Missing Bruce Brown tonight
* Reggie Jackson has to be let go in the offseason
* Need a real backup center (Nnaji is hurt but he's not the answer)

Phoenix matches up well with Denver, and they guard Jokic well even without Nurkic.

Denver's bench is solid but it lacks skill. You need guys who can handle and play make (like Brown).
** Embiid is the only MVP in NBA history to never make a conference final
** Philly won multiple playoff games without MVP Embiid
** Luka made the playoffs without Brunson
** LeBron missed the playoffs with Davis
** Steph missed the playoffs with Klay

Phoenix is too reliant on shooting variance to have a ton of success in the playoffs.

Phoenix seems to get under Denver's skin

Just reaffirms my belief that The Suns have been the most disappointing/underachieving regular season team.

It's easy to forget how important murray is to the nuggets because jokic is such a good player. They absolutely need Murray or else they aren't winning anything.
