Kendrick Perkins will be the face of ESPN in a few years.

He's already being groomed in the Charles Barkley role.

I will say that I would have never guessed that Perk would be where he is 5 years ago. When he was a commentator for the Celtics pre game and post game, I thought he was terrible. I can't believe he has made it this far. He is terrible.

I think we all think Perk is terrible. The point is he's making himself a big star for being terrible at his job.

You’re right, and it is horrible, IMHO.

ESPN prefers entertaining clowns these days to motivated insightful hosts helping the audience enjoy the game through new views.

Tyrese Haliburton was the first guy that came to mind. Very articulate and intelligent, I feel like he would also thrive in a leadership role in the NBPA.
