Well not as many as Kyrie for Mavs

What's the point of bringing up Kyrie? I don't get it, is there a beef between Denver and Dallas?

More specifically between joker and Doncic and their respective arguments/counter arguments for MVP

 no no, Murray's all about winning! He 'works too hard' to not win. So he can keep winning on the team he wanted to go to and got his wish.

No take backs.

(that lol wasn't at you, CB but at any notion of Murray's willingness now to return to us)

Kinda amazed mavs only are down 9 points shooting 29% from 3 when kings shooting 47%. Feels like this can go any way yet.

Discount Abe Lincoln? lol Chet catching strays unprovoked. I hope the Spurs are good soon so Chet doesn't occupy so much space on the Wemby bulletin board.

I'm just responding to all those who kept insisting Chet was the better player. Everytime Wemby does something that Chet can't do, I'm going to bring that up. I like Chet as a player and would have loved to have him on the Spurs alongside Wemby but the fact is, he's nowhere near the player Wemby is. Not yet alreast.

Chet was arguably better than Wemby through December or so, then Wemby took his game to another level and now Wemby is clearly better. I see very few people arguing otherwise in March 2024. If you want to keep making that point with derogatory nicknames and such, more power to you. I was just pointing out that hyperfocus on Chet is a byproduct of not having much else to play for. When the Spurs are good again (hopefully next year?), Chet will no longer sit at the center of the bulletin board. It's the "I feel bad for you" and "I don't think about you at all" meme in NBA form lol.

How soon before Wemby is a legit MVP candidate ?
Maybe by his third season which is bloody insane when you think about it.

Any word on that Luka injury? I didn't see a roll so that kind of limp is concerning.

Kings down to just Davion/Duarte/Len off the bench with Monk out the rest of the night. They either need to step up or the starters have to really turn it on to hold on to this lead.

For me it's not even so much about the numbers Wembanyama racks up, which are impressive, but how he does it. A 7-foot-4 human with agility, coordination and guard skills shouldn't be possible. Compare that to somebody like, say, Mark Eaton who looked like he could barely tie his own shoes and would lose the ball 100/100 if he ever tried a between-the-legs dribble.

Dont know who Mark Jones is and neither what Golden Corral are. Must be some inside joke in sacramento, suppose that "humour" keeps kings from signing any FA.

Why would he do that?

We are a much smaller market than yall :D
Playoff team in the East (44 wins) ...... and we stink, rebuilding (only 17 wins)

Sure we have Wemby, but not much else around him ( good players but very streak, young, etc).

32 to 12 FTs
Getting in the penalty with like 7:30 in the 4th to go off of weak foul calls
Every time the Knicks took the lead in the 4th, refs call weak calls for Wemby to tie it up at the line everytime.
Horrible jumpball violation call.

End of story.

lol

Good luck in the playoffs, bub.

Especially playing as a guard!
I would be much less on his fitness if he was a center or hell, even a power forward but a guard? Especially in this league? Come on man.

Sampson is the only real comp we’ve ever seen, and his career was basically over after 3 seasons. Obviously hoping Wemby doesn’t have the same luck.
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

You don't know Mark Jones, the ESPN play by play announcer? And Golden Corral is a national buffet chain that has locations across the country.

Wasn't that serious, man...

Wemby is an apex predator, by his 3rd season he's going to be the best player in the league.

Dunno but one thing that is sure is that he will most certainly get a serious one at one point if he continues to be that unfit.

Yeah, and while my recollections of Ralph is hazy, I don't ever remember him doing some of the stuff Wembanyama does. Certainly not hitting stepback 3s and sht like that

EDIT: Indeed, Sampson had 10 career 3s. Different era, different game, but that's a major, major evolutionary step

That part is so cringey though, trying to create a narrative against the opponent based off what "fans" said, you can go online and find any fan saying anything bad about any player if you want.
