12/1/1 according to the spreadsheet.
** Embiid is the only MVP in NBA history to never make a conference final
** Philly won multiple playoff games without MVP Embiid
** Luka made the playoffs without Brunson
** LeBron missed the playoffs with Davis
** Steph missed the playoffs with Klay

Why not jokic?

I see we have to do this again. Luka is ahead on PPG (huge margin), APG, SPG and is also ahead on EPM, EW and DRIP. The Mavs also had by far the worse luck with the injuries.

For one I didn’t ask you your opinion. I know yours. Which I pretty much discussed in detail already. Two he has both so I want to see why.

Just barely missed having the second ever 2000 pt, 1000 reb, and 500 ast season as well, though that's his own category anyway. But it's also the 4th consecutive season of him leading the league in all of PER, WS, WS/48, BPM, and VORP...which I believe only LeBron and Jordan have accomplished (though Jordan did it for 6 consecutive seasons). Another historic season overall, and one of the best statistical primes we've ever witnessed.

You forgot about Kareem in the bolded, he did it as well in the mid to late 70s, but it's still absurdly impressive to put yourself on a four man list with Kareem, Jordan, and LeBron.

Kareem technically missed the WS part of it in 1975 and 78, mostly because he missed too many games those years (played 65 and 62, respectively). Though I definitely should have mentioned him as well, because he absolutely dominated the 70s otherwise. He led the league in PER and WS 8/10 seasons during the decade, WS/48 in 9/10 seasons, and BPM and VORP basically every season from 73-80 (after they started being recorded). Wilt had similar domination of PER, WS, and WS/48 in the 60s, so I imagine he'd be up there in BPM and VORP as well, if they were kept.

Basically over the past 60 years, it's Wilt/Kareem/Jordan/Lebron and now Jokic who have statistically dominated the league to that degree during their primes.

lol some Joker fanboys should really work as politicians or lawyers, they're really doing treasure of imaginations and langage twistings in order to advocate for Joker to become MVP

So only you are only allowed to use stats for your guy but others can’t for their mvp candidates? On top of that call them fanboys. Grow up.

You're really the last guy who should give lessons of objectivity to the others in this thread, just look at the number of posts you've posted in this thread for advocating Joker's case (comparing to mine for Luka for example)...talk about being precious about a player

All of the award races have already been decided, and none of them will be close. The only exception might be for Most Improved where Maxey and White both have a solid case.

I don’t recall me saying people are fan boys because they bring up stats supporting their MVP candidate. I may not agree with comparisons made yes. But I don’t call out other people saying they are fanboys or politicians.

Well I think it might be close for sixth man between Reid and Monk. I have Monk slightly a head

This has nothing to do with MVP? How can people hate on the guy?

Perkins and SAS voted for SGA, of course. Racist scumbags.

SGA has a legitimate MVP case, but with those two (SAS and Perkins) there's obviously a hidden agenda that goes beyond basketball. I actually think that - in and of itself - topic of bias that Perkins brought up last year was interesting, but my biggest issue is that it was brought up in a way whereby Perkins or anybody who voted for Embiid couldn't possibly prone to bias as well. Especially when the more neutral impact metrics all painted Jokic as the more valuable player. It created a toxic environment, where some voters were essentially pressured into voting for one specific player out of fear for their reputation, and it eventually led to the wrong result.

If Jokic wins this year it will even out as Embiid was the leading candidate for MVP and the better player before he got hurt. So I wouldn't mind it so much in retrospect if Jok wins.

No one.
The problem is some of his fans who are slowly managing the incredible feat of making other fans getting slightly annoyed by Joker.

No it wouldn't, it would only have evened out if Embiid deserved it this year and Jokic won it. Last years robbery can never be undone. I guess fans just have to accept when ranking Jokic all time he essentially has 4 MVPs.

They're not racist scumbags. SGA has a great case for MVP. That young man just took the thunder to the #1 seed in the west and he doesn't have a jaylen brown next to him. That is impressive.

Their history says otherwise.

SGA is an amazing player, but these two are utter morons who keep pushing their agenda.
