MJ, Lebron and Kareem not being on everyone's list says all it needs to say.
4th slot should be David Stern if we're being honest, but I get it's a player only Rushmore. I gave it to Magic.

Troll thread.
Meh neither should even be considered, but no one in their right mind is going to vote KG so it doesn't impact the poll in any way. You will definitely have Kobe stans voting for him if he was on the list.
I think what's more ridiculous is Bill Russell not being on the list. I wouldn't vote for him, but if we're talking Mount Rushmore, he deserves consideration for what he did for the game, the league and its players.

Pretty much my list, though I am wavering on Jordan.

Same and I didn't think it was difficult to decide.
I gave Magic a thought, but Duncan was good for so so so much longer.

Re: NBA Mt Rushmore (1970 onwards)
I think this is functionally a thread about who is the best between: Duncan, Shaq, Magic, Garnett, Bird, Hakeem, and Steph. Which is a genuinely difficult question. I voted Duncan, but I don’t feel strongly at all about it, especially when the thread is asking about how good they’d be now.

In chronological order. I know you don't think highly of pre-1970, but I don't think highly of your basketball opinions.

Then don't post in the thread. Go watch some old timey highlights of Cousy adjusting his gramophone in between his plumbing gigs.

For mine, I’d have Jordan Kareem Bird Hakeem.

No way in this world am I ever putting Hakeem's blackhole offense over Duncan.

If it's about today, I can't imagine why we'd not include the guy who should have just wrapped up his 4th consecutive MVP. It's Jokic. Obviously 3 of the slots are completely given.
