Bucks have played so bad the past few weeks I am shocked they are heavy favorites. Pacers have been rounding into form as of late too. Coaching matters in playoffs too & I trust Carlisle more to make adjustments than Rivers.

7 games in April Haliburton seems back to normal form - 20 & 10 in 33 mpg, 49/39/86 splits & Indy finished 5-2.

Haliburton is the best player in the series (I don't think Giannis plays...at least the first few games) and the Bucks have been awful. I like Hali absolutely torches Dame.

Yes, on paper Dame/Middleton > Hali/Siakem but Dame/Middleton is one of the worst 1-2 defensive punches in the league.

The Pacers are not a top 4 team on the east but are built to have several advantages against a team like the Bucks.

The Bucks have a terrible perimeter defense, are the oldest team on the league and play with Lopez on a deep drop, meanwhile the Pacers stretch the floor with Turner, use several cutters, like to play fast and in transition and take a ton of 3s.

Unless Giannis go berserk, this is gonna be a difficult series for Milwaukee, and even if he plays all the games i think this series go the long distance

I can’t see Giannis losing in the first round two years in a row. It’s also a lot of pressure on Lillard who usually delivers under such circumstances.

It’s probably a trap but Pacers +1.5 (series) line is too good to pass up, basing on how both teams looked recently.

Line should be a guaranteed win (just force a Game 7) if Giannis is hurting the entire series and/or miss most games.

i do think stealing one in Milwaukee should define this series, if it’s going to be a close one or ending early, for Indiana. The Pacers can’t afford to go down 0-2 and must get one early on the road.

Yeah, they ducked the sixers so they could face the team they’re 1-4 against this season. Bold strategy.

With that said though… the Pacers in the second half of this season aren’t the same team that they were during the first half. Hali hasn’t been as good and Siakam hasn’t really improved the Pacers the way I was expecting him to. So this one is tough to call for me.
