and also back when the pacers didnt have siakam

Of course hes playing but thats my point. Hes not been the same. What does that look like? Can they win without him being the same guy? His health totally changes the storyline of this series.Nuntius wrote:canada_dry wrote:Everyone's talking about giannis' health...
What about haliburtons health?

Hali is not 100% back to his earlier season standards but there's no doubt that he'll play every single match. He played every single game from game #48 to game #82. That's 34 straight-games. Yes, he was in minutes restriction for the first 6-7 games and his numbers have taken enough of a dip from earlier in the season to believe that there's probably still some hang-up there (possibly trying to make sure that he doesn't make risky plays that could injure him again) so, sure, it won't be the same Haliburton that the Bucks faced back in January but he's playing.

It seems like it should be a bigger storyline than it is... it also heavily impacts pacers chances of winning and noone is talking about it while pacers are favored in the poll to win.
Everyone says this series is gonna be so fun as if the best players on each team isnt ailing. I just don't see it being that fun a series. Not until the intrigue of giannis returning mid series at least...I'd love to be wrong, Im a big haliburton and siakam guy and I want to see them do well this playoffs. A week off should help for sure, but it should still be a big part of the discourse. Haliburton being himself is as key for the pacers as Giannis health is for the bucks.

Anti-climatic ending for a drama filled season in Milwaukee. Gonna be a lot of soul searching going on over there this Summer. Aging players, bloated contracts, **** coaching... What a mess.

The Pacers have enough issues, why you out here trying to jinx us into oblivion?!

They're very worried of him pulling a KD and tearing his achilles. He's been doing the tendinopathy for the achilles as well.
