Hali is not 100% back to his earlier season standards but there's no doubt that he'll play every single match. He played every single game from game #48 to game #82. That's 34 straight-games. Yes, he was in minutes restriction for the first 6-7 games and his numbers have taken enough of a dip from earlier in the season to believe that there's probably still some hang-up there (possibly trying to make sure that he doesn't make risky plays that could injure him again) so, sure, it won't be the same Haliburton that the Bucks faced back in January but he's playing.
Of course hes playing but thats my point. Hes not been the same. What does that look like? Can they win without him being the same guy? His health totally changes the storyline of this series.

It seems like it should be a bigger storyline than it is... it also heavily impacts pacers chances of winning and noone is talking about it while pacers are favored in the poll to win.

Everyone says this series is gonna be so fun as if the best players on each team isnt ailing. I just don't see it being that fun a series. Not until the intrigue of giannis returning mid series at least...I'd love to be wrong, Im a big haliburton and siakam guy and I want to see them do well this playoffs. A week off should help for sure, but it should still be a big part of the discourse. Haliburton being himself is as key for the pacers as Giannis health is for the bucks.

Bucks should rule Giannis out for the season. More than any other player he relies on his athleticism and you dont want a potential Durant situation. Not to mention its going to be hard enough(if even possible) to dissuade him from playing in the Olympics. Come back next year with Doc and Dame getting a full training camp and take another crack at it next year.

Giannis is way too important for the Bucks viability as a franchise and a Achilles type injury especially with his limited offensive skills would be catastrophic for the franchise. Sometimes Giannis has to be saved from himself.

i think it’s pretty simple for the Pacers. Steal one on the road in the first two games and they have a chance to win the series. Going down 0-2 and likely a healthier and/or available Giannis later on, that’s a tough task.

Pacers in 5.

Anti-climatic ending for a drama filled season in Milwaukee. Gonna be a lot of soul searching going on over there this Summer. Aging players, bloated contracts, **** coaching... What a mess.

This is fair. Hali's health should definitely be as big a part of the discussion as Giannis' health is. I think that one of the reasons why Hali's health isn't mentioned as much is that people still do not fully buy Haliburton. They do not fully buy that what they saw out of him before his injury in January is what Haliburton truly is. People are willing to write that off as just a hot stretch and some of them may even consider it a fluke.

This is why I believe that there has been less talk about his health status. There are probably people out there who believe that his current play is who Hali is. A very good player but not the top-10 player that he was before his injury.

Bucks in 6 Griffins defense or lack of it played into pacers 4-1 series win more than anything and the player that killed the bucks is out for the year and buddy Hield is also gone. Siakam is a forward easier for the bucks to guard with their front court.

This is true, right? He's out? I haven't been paying as much attention to this series as I should and I'm little out of the loop.

They're very worried of him pulling a KD and tearing his achilles. He's been doing the tendinopathy for the achilles as well.
