Many less overreactions and crazy stuff this game.

Coach Carlisle is no dummy either.

Boy, don't say that on Twitter.

Pacers Twitter is all "bald man dumb" ... "fire bald man". They act like Mathurin is a domestic abuse victim for *only* getting 28 minutes per game. It's weird. I don't know who they think they're gonna hire.

We played much better. As good as Paskal played in game 1, he played even better. Paskal and Turner are the only ones with any playoff experience, and it showed.

Game 1 our young guys were scared to death, hopely that's long gone.

Paskal wasn't a 2 time All-NBA guy for nothing. Can score at all 3 levels and can guard. He's a hell of a player.

Nembhard is a guy casual fans probably don't know. The guy can play, really great defender. Good all around player. Can run the point very well if needed. He's started most of our games the last 2 seasons. He's the reason Mathurin came off the bench, probably not the higher ceiling than Math, but he's a little more complete at the moment. He'd far sure be a much higher pick than 1st of the 2nd round if that draft was done over.

I like Siakim as a 3rd option. His game is weird for a 2nd.

Though if he had a 1st option who was actually a superstar level player, it might work.

I think what is weird is how you think Siakam is a 3rd option when he already won a title as the second option despite being a raw offensive player.

I think he's better suited as a third option. Like Chauncey Billups won a title as a first option but if I said different, you wouldn't have any smoke for me. Technically he's "proven" he can do it, but its not his best role. Thats how I see Siakim.

I'm curious what your rationale is for thinking his game is "weird" for a second option... He's currently averaging 36ppg on 60% and adding in 13 boards with only 1 TO a game lol

I hope Hali steps it up, he's been disappointing so far in the playoffs

For sure. Nembhard & Nesmith were great defensively in this game. I love those 2 guys game to compliment the main scorers ... They can cover Lillard & Middleton way better than anyone on the Bucks can cover Haliburton and Siakam.

I must say, I’ve never seen an uglier jumpshot than T. Halliburton. Glad it occasionally works for him. But good lord. Who taught him that?! Lol

What matters are the results, not the aesthetics of it. Haliburton is a 39.3% 3-point shooter for his career so I'd say that it works more than just occasionally.

I had to work and missed the game, but nice to see them get the W.

Winning 3 in a row is still going to be very difficult, but that is what it will take if they want to protect home court advantage. Even without Giannis, that is a big ask, especially for a young team. We'll see how it plays out, but nice to see they settled in a bit today.

As for Haliburton, I think its a combination of his hamstring injury not having fully healed, and having a great defender on him in Beverly. I was bummed when the Bucks were gifted Beverly because I knew how much they needed a player like him and we're seeing why.

Still need more from Haliburton though, but I can give a pass tonight when everyone else was playing great, and he was still dishing...but for the Pacers to win this series, we will need more from him.

He's been disappointing for the majority of the season at this point. The Pacers are luck they have Siakam, without him they're a lottery team. Turner has also stepped up in a big way.

Bucks need Giannis back no later than Game 5.

Long before that. This is a terrible match up for the Bucks minus Giannis.

Is Siakam similar to Kawhi? Saw the highlights, great from mid-range.

Bucks are a good matchup for Siakam....a bad matchup for him would be the Sixers.

Not really. He always lights up the Sixers too.
The best defender the Sixers can throw at him is Tobias Harris.

Honestly, out of all the East playoff teams - Miami would probably be his toughest matchup. Bam doesn't make it easy for him.
