I'd fire him before game 4 anyway, it is long overdue.

Same thing as game 1 and 2, except the Magic made all the open shots they were missing.

Wow Orlando, way to go...I really thought they'd get swept.

Also, it's nice to see Suggs is ok. Thought he'd be out for a while after the game 2 injury.

it makes no sense for him to be out there in a 38 point game

In theory you have him in there so he makes some shots and gets going, but if the only other shooter on the floor is Merrill, then he'll just get trapped, doubled, etc. The Magic clearly have no interest in him getting going.

Paolo and Suggs showed up. Mosley also put WCJ back into the starting lineup and that seems to have been a better matchup against Allen.

If that is all he is asked to do, we made a huge mistake in giving him a max contract.
If that is all we ask him to do then it reinforces the idea that JB isn't the right man for the job.
If this is all he is asked to do then he isn't doing a good job. Our offense in the first 2 games against Orlando has not been good overall and on an individual level Garland is only averaging 6 assists to go with 4.5 turnovers.

We just need much more from Darius.

First off, scoring is down and turnovers are up league wide as the league is really letting teams be physical in the playoffs.

You want your players taking what the defense gives them, especially when playing good defensive teams. Efficiency matters. Getting Allen and Mobley involved in the offense, particularly when they present a matchup issue for Orlando whenever Issac is off the floor, matters.

Not for nothing, but Garland would have more assists if Stus and Niang didn't shoot a combined 2-18 from 3 over the first two games.

Donavan scored 38 points on 30 shots in Game 1 against the Knicks. We lost. This complaining about what's working is just tiresome.

Darius had 5 points on 2-10 shooting. He did get his customary 6 assists. The offense overall continues to be abysmal.

We can’t continue to bury our heads in the sand. Garland is a max-contract player. He HAS to play like it. He has been really bad this series. No..it isn’t working. It didn’t work in games 1 and 2 and it certainly didn’t work tonight.

31/14/5 (50% shooting and 0 turnovers) against one of the better defensive teams in the league.

Man Paolo is only 21 and this dude is always so damn good.

Outside of our core four guys how is everyone else shooting? I mention this because I'm kind of surprised he has six assists as it requires a teammate to actually hit a shot.

We won games one and two. You are straight up lying saying it hasn’t worked in those games. It clearly did.

Magic were just an infinitely better team tonight. They’re right back in it but things can take a sudden turn if the Cavs come back and take game 4.

Ok, so the Magic are shooting well, but not that well (50/33). What’s actually happening is that they’re beating the everloving crap out of Cleveland on the boards and not turning it over. As in, effort and focus. The Cavs just didn’t show up tonight and got what they deserved.

The Magic are significantly better 5-12 on their roster. We can still win this series, but our starters are going to have to do it.
