It's a loooong way from Pelicans vs. Lakers to Kings vs. Warriors to Sixers vs. Heat to..... Bulls vs. Hawks. One is very much not like the others.

Ill cut him some slack because it was only the second game after missing a month, and he was attempting to steal the league assist title from Haliburton.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.
NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

I'll be honest; I've had a busy year and haven't followed lately.
Are they really looking that good? Who's crushing it lately? I hear great things about Coby, which is a relief.

i wouldnt say crushing it; but after a slow start with the Lavine injury they have played better. Yes Coby has made a leap but so has Ayo; Drummond has been a solid backup center. Pat has shown some flashes but he is out for the season as well.
I say they could give a team a tough series assuming both Ayo and Drummond are back. I think Boston is a bad matchup for them.

Nah, he needed 11 assists to take the Hawks' career assists record from Gllllenn Rivers.
Eta. Buy yeah, dude has been sloppy since coming back. Apparently, per the broadcast, he can't flex his left hand back. That's gotta be tough to dribble man.

Ohhh ok. Haliburton ended the season with 10.9 assist while Trae ended with 10.8, so I thought he was trying to pass him for the title.kg01 wrote:ChuckChilly wrote:jbk1234 wrote:Trae was really sloppy with the ball yesterday. That won't get it done against the Bulls.

Fun fact: The Hawks never lost a Play In game with a 3-0 record.

They've been super scrappy. Caruso's a demon, Terry's turning into a very good defender, Coby's killing it, Demar is doing Demar things, Dosunmu went on a tear after the ASB...and Drummond has been hilarious all season, from the pirate look he's been rocking to the double dunk with Craig last week, just pure comedy gold from the big fella.

After that 5-14 start, you've gone 34-29...a 44 win pace over a full 82 game season. So crushing it may be over-stating it, but that's a very solid record since gelling, with a lot of close losses.

44 wins means they'd end up in 9th (which is where they're currently at). ha!
I agree that they're slightly better than their record, but also keep in mind that some players like DDR and Coby have played heavy minutes and other players such as Ayo and Drummond are dealing with injuries right now.
I think they can beat the Hawks. After that...who knows?

Yeah not saying it's the Lonzo Bulls again, but as a Knicks fan who lives in Chicago I have a lot of respect for this Bulls team and how tough Donovan has them playing. I'm not saying I"m betting on them to upset the Celtics, but I won't be shocked if the loser of Miami/Philly comes out flat and you run out to a big enough lead to jump ahead of them for the 8th seed.
You guys rebound the hell out of the ball, you have AC to throw at perimeter stars, you have creators of your own, and you don't quit. You're awful at shooting the 3, but in a one-off you can be a very dangerous underdog...especially if you happened to get hot from behind the arc.
