Because if I think Conley has to defende on Beal in a PO series or Towns has to run behind Allen... Suns in 5

It would be Towns on KD, McDaniels on Beal, Conley on Allen. Towns did a reasonable job on KD and can switch with Gobert once a while.

Although I do agree this is one series Wolves may have to play One Big instead of "Too Bigs". In that case, it will be NAW on Beal. Conley can guard Allen to stop him from hitting open 3s.

Game 1 is a toss-up... Wolves -1.5 vs Suns in the opening game. i really want Minnesota to win (this game and this series) but this is such a trap line if you're backing Minnesota...

This is the series thats hardest for me to predict. Could go either way but common sense tells me the Wolves have more weapons. Picked them in 6

I would like Wolves to win, but I see this for the Suns at 5/6 (even a sweep)...paradoxically, their strength in the regular season, the size of their towers, will be what screws them up in the Playoffs... in a certain way It reminds me of the last Mavs/Jazz series (with many nuances) the Suns have the weapons to minimize Gobert and they will break the Wolves

Maybe the most interesting series. This is a toss up. Suns have way more experience but are not consistent.

This is a doozy to try and pick.

Yeah, the Timberwolves defense... yadda yadda.

That doesn't matter when the other team scores all of their points by shooting jumpers over the top or falling away.

Then again, when you're a team that relies on shooting jumpers to score all of your points, variance is high and will absolutely be a factor in a 7-game series.

The only thing stopping Edwards has always been himself, but his mental game seems to have finally caught up to his physical attributes.

i really think way too much is made out of who is the primary defender and individual matchups especially in the playoffs with all the switching, pick and rolls and screens, the main key is to have as many versatile defenders on the court that can guard multiple positions and no huge defensive liabilities as those will get searched out continually and teams will just try to force the mismatches they want. The suns biggest liability on defense is probably nurkic and i am sure they don't want him switching off Gobert much
