Lol why would we regret our leader and stabilising factor (we legit became good overnight as soon as we traded for him January 2023).


Yeah struggles offensively sometimes and is having a bad game. But he is a genuine floor general that keeps things simple and boosts our decision making and turn overs. Without him we would look like iso ball black holes like Suns looking in most of our games.


Is extension is 21m over 2 years btw lol, it's a discount if anything for all around positive impact leader.

Perhaps I'm just overreacting to this game but he doesn't look like he belongs anymore athletically. Wolves are capped out, 2nd apron. Paying even 10M per year to a guy who might be able to stay on the court when the games matter is tough if you're capped out and have title aspirations.

For what it is worth, Mike Conley was the most efficient pull-up three-point shooter in the NBA, shooting something like 46%.

Bad shooting nights happen.

It was more picking up fouls and not being able to guard or beat guys off the dribble, though shooting pull ups is harder when you don't have the same space. I have no doubt he'll have better post season shooting nights than this.

This game highlights why you should never overrate guys just because they put up nice scoring stats.

If Booker put up his season avg of 27 points on 19 shots I wouldn't blame him here, but he clearly didn't do that.

Booker is more than just scoring - Booker is having a bad night -

But trust me - Beal gonna disappoint and disappear throughout this series - watch how Beals minutes drop

For what it is worth, Minnesota has also changed their defensive scheme a bit. Strategy is to isolate Karl-Anthony Towns (or whomever switches) on Kevin Durant to ensure that Phoenix's other players aren't as open from off-ball action.

I'll be interested to see if Minnesota can continue to lock up Devin Booker in a similar manner, using this strategy.
