Beal dribbles like your drunk uncle balling in timbs and jeans in the driveway embarrassing himself

I love some of the suns fans on this board but I told
Them this isn’t a good deal for them . Not a single wiz fan was mad at seeing beal leave…

Beal isn't even a 2nd option here, he put up 15 points on 10 shots, solid, not great.

Beal wasn't the issue this game, wasn't the answer either.

Rudy Gobert's perimeter defense has been a revelation, this season.

Yeah struggles offensively sometimes and is having a bad game. But he is a genuine floor general that keeps things simple and boosts our decision making and turn overs. Without him we would look like iso ball black holes like Suns looking in most of our games.

Is extension is 21m over 2 years btw lol, it's a discount if anything for all around positive impact leader.

Perhaps I'm just overreacting to this game but he doesn't look like he belongs anymore athletically. Wolves are capped out, 2nd apron. Paying even 10M per year to a guy who might be able to stay on the court when the games matter is tough if you're capped out and have title aspirations.

For what it is worth, Mike Conley was the most efficient pull-up three-point shooter in the NBA, shooting something like 46%.

Bad shooting nights happen.

It was more picking up fouls and not being able to guard or beat guys off the dribble, though shooting pull ups is harder when you don't have the same space. I have no doubt he'll have better post season shooting nights than this.

Because they absolutely been brutally pounding us in regular season series. Like not even close any of the games, 10-15 minimum leads most games.

Defended us well with shell defense on Ant and had insanely hot shooting entire series from everyone.

Great video on it. Basically the Suns had insane shooting luck against you guys.

If Booker put up his season avg of 27 points on 19 shots I wouldn't blame him here, but he clearly didn't do that.

Booker is more than just scoring - Booker is having a bad night -

But trust me - Beal gonna disappoint and disappear throughout this series - watch how Beals minutes drop
Throughout this series - or he gets hurt

For his salary he better be. The Suns didn’t trade for Beal to put up 15 pts.

He was always a really good perimeter defender, Quin just refused to play literally any scheme other than deep drop and funnel.

What does Beal bring if only scores 15 points? You understand how much of their cap Beal takes for 15 points lol

If I were the Suns, I would have simply just played Rudy off the court.

Beal isn’t cooked. But the oven is warming and he’s covered in butter.

Trading for that contract has Ishiba’s fingerprints all over it.

For what it is worth, Minnesota has also changed their defensive scheme a bit. Strategy is to isolate Karl-Anthony Towns (or whomever switches) on Kevin Durant to ensure that Phoenix's other players aren't as open from off-ball action.

I'll be interested to see if Minnesota can continue to lock up Devin Booker in a similar manner, using this strategy.
