The most casual argument in history.

Jordan didn't play six seasons, he played fifteen and was getting stomped in the East for a majority of them.

Swept in round one multiple times. A punching bag of the Pistons. 0-6 against Bird come playoff time.

To make the guy who couldn't win a playoff series or go .500 in the regular season without Pippen out to be some infallible "6-0!!!" giantslayer is just disingenuous. He didn't become a winner until he had a superteam around him and all of his competition retired out of the league.

At Lebron's current age, Jordan was decomposing into flesh and rot with a Wizards jersey on and piss yellow eyes miles out of the playoffs.

Yup. It's so funny that Jordan fans are criticizing Lebron for getting swept at age 38 and 39 when Jordan was swept back to back at 22 and 23 years old (and only winning 1 of his first 10 playoff games)

He was getting carried towards the end of his career. Bulls as a team are heavily underrated.

Who was carrying him? If it was that easy, why did the Bulls only make it to the ECF the one year he was gone?

Idk why this misconception still exists, but the Bulls didn't make it to the ECF without Jordan. They were eliminated by the Knicks in the 2nd round in 1994.

Sweeps are very very difficult to pull off. Gentleman's sweep is way more common even with a vastly superior team. But the Lakers look completely broken now, it's hard to believe they have a win in them, and even ref assist doesn't seem to help against Denver. There's only so much the NBA can do. Denver is so good they don't even have to do the usual marginal contact stuff that refs can call a penalty on every play, they legit have trouble calling stuff.

This was funny, but to be fair, AD guarded him for most of the game.

The real problem with Rui is on the offensive end. He's been so bad that the Nuggets are taking turns taking breathers on him by putting either Jokic or Murray on him defensively.

LeGUTLESS should have just stayed home for the playoffs and let the warriors play. They would have at least won a game or two

Sweep or no sweep old age or young age 6 finals mvp is still more than 4 finals mvp. Yea this doesnt take away from his legacy but it does prevent him from getting #5. Championships are hard to come by even Lebron stans admit to this they know nothing is guaranteed even Lebron teaming with Wade and Bosh wasn’t enough vs Dirk in 2011. People really discredit 2 three-peats because they didnt see it live. How much more in the future when young ones see Lebron’s championships and see one of em is in shortened season, one in a bubble, and the other two going to game 7’s and saved by the two greatest clutch shots of all time and none of those were made by Lebron. Not to mention the constant team hopping and colluding and playing in a weak eastern conference. Ofc rn we are still in awe of Lebron because it’s recent, but in the future just like Jordan, Lebron’s accomplishment would be seen with less recency bias and tbh it’s less awesome than Jordan’s 2 3 peats. His only real saving legacy is that 3-1 comeback vs the Warriors that’s it but even that is riddled with controversy.

Patently false.

97-98 Bulls, Scottie Pippen had a bad back and only
played 44 regular season games. Jordan played all 82.

For the playoffs:

Jordan: 32.4 PPG
Pippen: 16.8 PPG
Kukoc: 13.1 PPG
Longley: 7.9 PPG

Who carried who exactly?
2023-2024 Bulls Prediction:

Regular Season: 40-42

AG's highlights,

The Lakers had no answer: LeBron was caught in no man's land on multiple possessions and they had poor transition communication. Part of that is because the Nuggets have 3 shooters on the perimeter, forcing tough choices. The other part is just bad defense.

I actually hope that's the case. But I don't think the Lakers are better than Minnesota or OKC. If the Nuggets end up winning the series, they still have a lot of work ahead of them.

Who cares only thing that matters reaching the Finals. Lakers would’ve been stomped anyway in WCF if they got there. Pre-KD Warriors were also unlucky because they played in the tougher Western conference, while Lebron in the weak East was basically able to coast to the Finals every time and have fresher legs but nobody ever brings that up.

How is he wrong? If her last name wasn’t Buss she wouldn’t have the position. Nepotism is rarely good for a business.

but he didn't blame it on nepotism. He blamed it on her being a woman.

The big problem for the Lakers is that the Nuggets' 3rd and 4th best players have answered the call. MPJ and AG have been incredible.

We were 35-47 the season before we landed LeBron and hadn’t made the playoffs for 6 consecutive seasons. You’re really asking if we would choose to continue stare into an abyss or take a guaranteed championship? This is a rich coming from a Spurs fan.

I think, in any case, the lakers desperately needed that game 2 win and were probably looking a going back to Denver down 3-1 though. By then they would have "figured something out" to tie the series at 3-3 and, of course, in a game 7 anything can happen.

Now they're down 3-0 and don't have the heart or the legs or the players to make this series interesting.
So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

Lakers are afraid of Nuggets. They go in the match with a loser mindset that no matter how good they will play, they will be beaten by Nuggets. I am expecting a sweep.
