Whoever signs him will regret it. He’s cooked.

Would he be able to command full MLE? 76ers have lots of cap space and he might be able to get lots of open 3s playing off Maxey and Embiid.

This has been klay all year....

He was absolutely horrible this year. Stop looking at raw box metrics.

TBH i didn't think he was really good during their title run either back in 2022. I think he ends up on the lakers or warriors. I know orlando is looking into him.

He was not that good in the '22 title run, but he was better than he is now. He is washed. All his good stats are accumulated vs. bad teams in low stake games.

Barnes has not been good in the playoffs now multiple years. Also, Klay really is not good against good teams at this point. Yes, if he's on a team that can get him wide open looks, he'll knock them down. But that same team also has to eat his now poor defense. I think if he wasn't a big name player, he would struggle to get beyond a minimum next year. Dude is done in my opinion, despite being able to drop 40 vs. garbage teams. He just can't get his shot off anymore vs, good/active defense now that's he is old/post injury.

Honestly this season for Warriors fans has been dominated by Klay discussion and we're all tired of it. I don't want him to retire a Warrior unless it's now. He is done. Maybe on another team you can play him some of the time as a spot up shooter, but he's doing nothing for a contender.

Bottom line:

His defense is cooked, and his offense is all racked up against bad teams. He's never been good in the playoffs since big injuries, he was "OK" in 2022, and has been bad since. Even in 2022, his playoff on/off was bad, all his subs were better.

I know he was. When July hits and another franchise signs him, are you going to be surprised? You shouldn't be.

Yeah, I wouldn't give him much but guys like Jevon Carter got 3/20; Joe ingles at 36 got 2/22. Got to imagine Klays floor is 2/30 and likely more when FA dries up.

He gonna get a max from another team cause he is a pure shooter who just had a bad game. Talk about overreacting Lol

I take away Poole's contract and give it to Klay since he's a more reliable player.

17.8m, 19.2m, 20.8m, 22.2m

MLE is $58m over 4 years, I'm suggesting he get 30% more than MLE. Maybe with a PO.

It is too much but GSW does like to pay their guys well.

Klay had a horrific game but hes still really valuable in a Heat Ray Allen type of role. He just has to accept thats where he is now in giving a team the best chance to win. Heat Ray had his share of 0 fors too. Klay can still be a key rotation piece for a title team but not as a starter

I thought they would have taken the opportunity to move on from Draymond after last season but they didn't. I won't be surprised if the front office goes the loyalty route and have the core 3 retire together.

Kerr has been delusional about Klay ever since he came back. It worked out in '22, but check Klay's on/off in the playoffs, his subs did the work while he treaded water. He wasn't terrible, but he wasn't good. We got our leads while he sat.

I said earlier this season Klay and Kerr are a deadly combo to this franchise. Once Kerr re-signed, that meant Klay has to go. Steve overplays vets beyond their current value, it absolutely kills us. We lost by 24 while Klay scored ZERO points. Yet Klay kept on playing despite Moody looking "light years" better, 16 points on 8 shots, +4 for the game.

I am so, so tired of being "The Golden State Klays".

3/72 Klay extension incoming! 12th seed here we come!

Could be that his legs are gone, or it could be that he's just done with the daily grind of contending. Either way the best thing for everyone would be if he goes to a non playoff team

The Magic should, and apparently are, at least thinking about bringing him in. We'll see though.

I know the Lakers, Heat, Sixers, Magic, and obviously, Warriors, are potentially looking at signing him. Will be interesting to see where he ends up.
