CJ and BI will need fluke shooting to win this one.

Zion news sucks. Purely as a neutral, i would much rather the Kings make the playoffs rather than a pelicans team missing their best player (and a very hobbled 2nd best player).

I feel not great going in, and it feels pointless either way, we’ll be swept before Zion returns either way.

Pelslife :’(

I think even with CJ/Herb/Murphy/Val this Pels team is still favored against the Kings. It's just how tough the match ups of Herb on Fox (defends him the best in the NBA by a wide margin) and Val on Sabonis (also defends him the best in the NBA, definitely top few).
That puts a lot of the scoring on Keegan/Barnes/Keon Ellis. Then you have the Pels shooting. Will be a terrific game either way.

The Pelicans beat the Kings by 33 without Zion, and with Monk and Huerter still playing.

Anyone thinking this is a given hasn’t been paying attention to this matchup at all this year.

Ingram must feel embarrassed after that 4Q benching. And with Zion out, he must play like a star to get this W over the Kings.

That 5-0 regular season will look like a fluke if Pels can't win this KO game.

It most definitely wasn't a fluke. The Pels are just a terror match up for the Kings. Speed and length. Can Sacramento, or rather Fox, exercise the Pelican Demons? I think he can and will.

In the 5 games Fox is:
21.2/3.2/4.2
.409 FG%
.243 3P%
.735 FT%
94 ORtg
132 DRtg
+/- = -82

Herb Jones length bothers him in the paint, we’ll see if he can hit his 3 today because that’s what they’re gonna give up.

Herb definitely gives Fox troubles but Dyson Daniels does as well. Tough matchups all around so we definitely have to bring our A game.

Pels now -1 after opening +1.5. Public money should be on NO now but that could still change come gametime.

Pels will win this game i feel. Bounce back from those 2 embarrassing and feel bad losses to LA.

I dont know, he must be pissed, he probably rushed his return from injury and got benched on the 4th, while McCollum who was just as bad saw the court.

If Sac wins, is there a chance Monk is back for the first round?

Kings always play down to the competition. They would always lose this season if a team was missing key players, like when they lost by 33 when Zion was out.

Pelicans win tonight by 8 to 10, then get swept by OKC.

It is bittersweet that both franchises tonight have terrible luck and one will miss the playoffs completely.

Got a feeling the Pels will beat us tonight. Just an awful matchup, and CJ shoots like Steph against every time.

Which will set an NBA record for beating a team 6 times in one season without facing them in the playoffs. That is 100% Kangz records

Should be an easy win for the pelicans even without zion and a not 100% ingram. Pelicans have owned the kings 5x this season by all blow outs even without key players.

To be fair, Steph was always shooting like Steph against us, until he wasn't.

Zion destroyed the Kings in 4 games this year which is why they won. Pelicans also blew Kings out in a schedule win minus Zion. Pelicans don't have Zion. Far from a guarantee Pelicans win this.
