Everybody is saying 1st road win by Pacers and 2nd road win by Mavs, but in reality, the 1st road run should have been by 76ers. Feeling sorry for them, they did not deserve to lose game 2 because of bad officiating.

They lost because they were the worse team in the worst time.

Someone posted video of Brunson supposedly flopping and before he was shoved to the ground by Embiid after the foul on Robinson Brunson was held twice by Oubre even before the foul was commitied. The 'flopping evidence' is actually holding evidence.
Jersey held before he even stepped onto the court after inbounding and then by the arm after he escaped the first hold which can be seen in the lower pic is before Embiid even gets to push Mitch before pushing Brunson.
Should have been FTs for Brunson instead of Mitch and just another example of him getting mauled by the Sixers trying to get free. That was the first game and there's other video showing it kept happening the second game, too, with no call.
Since you are such fans of still images and all...

what do you think that gave the real taste? =)
it's a physical game, no referee in the world can call those, that's the reality of intense play-off games. Butler clearly pushed Pat last year in game 5 buzzer beater to force OT but everybody remembers how Bucks choked.
Ghost of Reggie Miller disappeared from MSG.

I've seen a lot of people say "refs refs", but refs don't want to call fouls in the final seconds. Called fouls is a lousy way for the game to end and it looks to me like fouls were committed by both teams. Unless it's flagrant, I think a no call is the right call in that situation.
Lowrey didn't have to rush the inbound. That's on him. Maxey could have locked up the ball and had a jump ball, rather than rolling it in desperation and letting the Knicks get possession.
It wasn't as bad as the Knicks loss to the Pacers years ago. The Knicks were just out hustled and Pat Ewing didn't think he needed to be a target for the inbound. Pat be like "you guys bring the ball up and feed it to me" - no court awareness at all, and I love Ewing, but he fell asleep on the inbound.
Philly made mistakes. 2 players made mistakes and I can understand. It's a tense game. Final seconds, there's a lot of pressure.
I've seen games where the refs determined the outcome. The Hubert Davis free-throw playoff game was a joke. That one still doesn't sit right with me, and my team won that game. This wasn't that.
Philly is a good team. Maybe even better than the Knicks. They're certainly very good when healthy, 2nd seed in the east quality. If they can keep shutting down Brunson, then NY lacks a 2nd go to scorer, then NY might have a tough time. Brunson's one of the smartest players in the league, with a nifty shot too but not one of the most athletic and he struggled a ton in game two. He's also NY's only PG. A series like this, it would be nice to have Quickley back, or RJ for scoring, and I love Anunoby, but with Randle out, NY is feeling a little thin right now.
NY's 2 centers will be a tough combo for Embiid. Tough for anyone and Embiid is playing hurt.
DiVincenzo & Brunson can't guard Maxey, so do the Knicks go with their defensive specialst McBride more in game 3? Thibs is running the shortest rotation possible.
I'll go out on a limb and say that this is the best series in round one. Certainly, the best in the East. I don't watch the West as closely, but might be some good contests there.
Embiid guaranteed a victory this series and . . . props to him, but it won't be easy. Even if my Knicks lose, the Knicks have 4 picks this draft and the two free agent players they need to keep (Anunoby & Hartenstein) appear to want to stay and Bogs is a salary/trade chip, so NY is building for 2025 (healthy Randle in the mix). This year they'll be a tough opponent, but 2025 could be their year. Not saying the Knicks couldn't do it in 2024, but they're missing a key player and Anunoby is playing hurt.
I hated the heat for beating us last year, but it was a good series. It's nice to see some good basketball and a hard fought contest. Looking forward to game 3. (Go Knicks!!!)

I don't remember ever feeling so relieved that a series was over. This one was a bit too tense for me. Great series, but not fun to watch, even though the good guys won.

Sort of. Neither TO attempt is identified as an incorrect no call in the report the way the fouls on Maxey & DiVincenzo were, and the second TO attempt is explicitly said to occur simultaneously with Hart touching the ball & Philly losing possession.

Jalen has been playing poorly...but it's just two games and selling out to stop Jalen has let our supporting cast go off in a way we haven't let theirs. So swings & roundabouts.

I assumed that like most role players, our guys struggled more on the road this season than at home, but Donte and Deuce actually shot better on the road in the regular season. Playoffs are a different animal, but if Jalen can get going, maybe he will have enough support to secure game 3.

Dunno that OG (802) or Bogey (557) played enough minutes for us to glean anything from their H/R splits as knicks...but RobinHart's #s are nearly identical.

Philly basically a home game for Brunson, I expect him to ball out but won't be surprised if we lost. We have to win atleast one of the next 2 in Philly and we gucci

Yeah, the game was who chokes best. Philly won. Actually, they are 2-0 in the choke-offs this season.

Philly fans should be screaming shut Embiid down not we didnt get any calls because embiid and Maxey hit two shot to give us a lead
and our 18 year champion vet couldnt call a time out to give us a chance at closing it out. You either won or your lost- period.
