Also, because of how many people it would upset, the Lakers pulling off a title would be hilarious. I don't really like the purple and gold but that would be sheer chaos for the entire summer. They won't do it though.

Denver-Boston I lean Denver, but honestly I don't have a favorite in that one, I believe it will be the Finals and the winner will ascend to a very high level of basketball to win it.

I have always "second" followed the Knicks this season. Even though they traded away my fave player in their team in RJ, I still followed them so yeah... if we can't win it, then might as well be them

First to vote Celtics lol. It'd be a shame if such a historic team lost. Also wouldn't mind a ring for Tatum as his sustained excellence but not MVPness makes him sometimes underrated.

It's weird to me that 3rd-party fans don't support the Celtics more. Yes, the franchise as a whole has won a lot, but *this particular group* has not despite being a mostly-homegrown team of young players who have tried to do everything the right way. They're not arrogant ****, they're not dirty players, so the hate doesn't really make any sense to me other than people thinking the Celtics franchise has too many rings.

I guess for some reason people just like loud-mouth showboaters more than people who just show up to work and do the best they can.

Not many folks hates the Nuggets. They were once the long time loveable losers. They always seem to come up short in the tuff West in the playoffs and ...... also during the '90s/early '00s, they were terrible. Most were pretty happy for them winning it all last season, and shocking.
Also, they have likeable players on their team right now (Murray, Jokic, Braun, AG, Jordan, MPJ, etc and coach Malone). Hard to hate them and their fans are cool.

Only fan base that really "hated" the Nuggets over the years, were/are the Utah Jazz fans. Rocky Mountain regional /division rivals.

Also, the 2014 Spurs, 2019 Raptors, 2016 Cavs, 2011 Mavs, etc got a lot of love.

Even many of us Spurs fans pulled for the Mavs (ewwww...) in 2011. Mostly for Dirk and the Mavs fans.......the rest of that Mavs team and Mark Cuban can eff themselves tho.

They were actually the west team I pulled for aside from the Suns until this year...only because they already won it. I love watching Jokic though. But now it's more fun to pull for someone like OKC. I find them a fun team too..probably more fun than Denver, but maybe that's because Denver has gotten a bit old for me after watching that team for a number of years now.

Yeah, I guess it's kind of a bandwagon thing. Seems a lot of people like to pull for favorites or the best players in sports. I never have. I always rooted against Jordan, Brady, Tiger, etc. I like Jokic though...and I liked Curry but it was hard to root for the Warriors after KD joined them.
