I don’t think I’ve ever seen a coach cry as much as he does about officiating, particular when so many of his complaints are about non mistakes.

There’s a difference between complaining and being completely unhinged.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a coach complain about so many blatant fouls, other right calls that didn’t go their way etc.

I remember when Boston played them in 2020 in a playoff series it was near unwatchable with how much the cameras showed him jumping up and down at refs after his players blatantly fouled people.

Yesterday him and the team file a grievance after his team choked away a lead and he completely mishandled a timeout situation.

He’s honestly embarrassing.

Will always love him for the title. But 100% it was hard to watch him as our head coach.

A couple of nominees
Rasheeed Wallace - Seems like he was always complaining about something.
Mark Cuban - Seems like he lead the league in official complaints to the league. Plus a guy that likes to talk for an owner.
Kobe - I've never seen another player that acted so entitled to a foul call. Like it was his birthright.
Reggie Miller - Solely for his announcer days. All I hear when he talks is whining, doesn't matter what he is saying.

I re-watched a game from the 83' Finals-tons of HoF stars, awesome stuff. Almost NO whining at all-it was so different. Also, almost no one flopped or fell down.

Obviously, the players are way better now but the sense of entitlement makes it hard for me to watch sometimes

Phil Jackson used to work the refs pretty hard too and it was just as petulant, but it works. Bet Philly gets some heavy home-cooking tomorrow.
