I saw this tweet earlier tonight and assumed that there was an age qualifier on the tweet

The fact that he's the first ever is pretty ridiculous

Then again how often do near 40 pt blowouts happen in the NBA playoffs?

One of the more underrated/overlooked young guys in the league.

He just came at pretty much the worst time. Basically his entire rookie season all everybody talked about (when it came to young prospects) was tanking for Wemby. Then this year as Paolo made the all star game, again all everybody talked about was Wemby.

One thing to be clear on, not saying Wemby didn’t deserve the hype or all the talk this year, he clearly deserves all the talk he has gotten.

But that plus Paolo playing in ORL which is one of the lesser covered teams. Paolo seems to be pretty under the radar so far in his career, and he’s had a hell of a start.

How do they even track these stats, how do you filter it? I rememer, around 10 years ago we had a tease of some chat bot where you would write down any stat modifier or any question like that, and info would apoear. It looked amazing at s time, but it was basically kind off just AI bot for NBA stats. Do we have that and I just missed it, or was it just thing that never actually happened?

His arms look plastic there. Like action figure. I remember, in 2004, some local magazine here had basketball section and they had article on USA olympic national team and its starting 5 and compared it to Lithuanian team and its starting 5. And they had tiny photos of all starters they wrote about. And all lithuanian players had standard photos from 2003 Eurobasket and such, but photos of USA players while cool, looked weird. It took me some time to realize it was realistic minuature models on some set that was photographed, they all had USA uniforms on, which at that time, most of these guys never would have wore. It was no doubt to avoid licenzing problems of something like that.

Yep, there's bound to be guys who have gotten to those thresholds before reaching 30 MPG but who then go on and play more minutes.

If you increase the minutes threshold to 31 minutes,there are 5 games that reach the 30+/10+/5+ threshold. Some would have surely passed those thresholds before reaching 30 minutes.

Which isn't to say that Paolo's performance isn't excellent - it's a hell of a game - just that there's a little bit of statistical manipulation going on.

Well, in order to accomplish it you need to have some under-30-minutes-games in the first place.
What is the next accomplishment they will present to us? The first player with 30-10-5 that played exactly 32 minutes and 22 seconds?
