I think this series comes down to KAT. Will he be a foul fest machine? Will he shoot 3’s? Will he keep going to the hole? What will he do?

such a tough series with LAL can paradoxically be an advantage for Denver if in these 4 days KCP and Murray recover... Minnesota had a walk in the park with Phoenix in comparison

Wolves in 7, I'm so excited for this series. Could go either way but as I lived in MN for a time, I must pick them. Good luck to both and let's get a great series without referee drama, injuries, or bad calls.
Cheers

This is the one series I´m really excited about. Could see this going either way.

Nuggets in Six. I’m hoping to watch a few games where Ant goes nuts though, these are the series that teach a young guy what it takes.

I expect the Wolves in 6 if the Nuggets continue with their current level of play. If Denver shoots better, they take it in 6 or 7. HCA might end up being the deciding factor. It will be a fun series regardless of who wins.

We know that Denver is resilient and will continue to battle regardless of how the game is going. The Timberwolves, on the other hand, were never really put into a situation where they were uncomfortable against that Suns team. We will learn a lot about the character of these young Wolves players in this upcoming series and I'm excited to find out.

Nuggets are banged up and has a thinner bench compared to Minny.

TWolves are big, athletic and deep on the bench. Rested. Great head coach as well.
Also, they are a lot more mentally mature these days. No longer dummies/soft like years past.

Then you add in the division mates factor (Northwest Division), familiarity. They play each other very often. Minn has played Denver well, over the years.

Whatever the case may be, should be a great series!

All good points. I think the biggest X factor for me is KAT. Will he step up and score, play defense or will he commit stupid fouls and dumb turnovers?

I think it will be Nuggets in 7. Tough series. In the regular season Twolves won 2 games easily, Nuggets had to fight hard for 2 wins.

Pro Denver:

1. People are questioning Nuggets abillity to guard Ant. In their last game in rs, one that decided seeding at the end of the year, KCP (with Jokic's help) held Ant to 0 points in the 4th Q. Of course they will not be able to do it again, Ant is superstar, but a lot of people are questioning Nuggets ability to even slow him down. They prove they can.
2. Same game, Jokic scored 41 pts shooting 16-20 against Rudy
3. I tought Payton Watson don't have a chance against Naz Reid because of size/strenght, but he held his own on D, more than I expected

Pro Minnesota

1. Unlike last year, they play more like team now, more defined roles, more focused on winning
2. Crazy offensive fire-power, size, BBIQ on D, complete team
3. Improvement of all young players, but for me No1 thing is Jaden McDaniels on offensive side

Unlike some people here I don't think winner of this series is going to have easy walk to the finnals, OKC is great and Dallas/Clippers are great teams too. Luka will wake up, if Clippers get Kawhi back anything is possible

I'll say Nuggets in 7. Murray will have to play way better than he did vs the Lakers.

If he shots almost 30 times more than Jokic again and his TS is 20% worse, that won't get it done. Nuggets might need more from their bench this time, but that bench looks unplayable.

I think this will be one of the best series of the past few years. Minnesota look hungry and they match up really well.

Minny in 6 bc they got the best player in the series plus denvers bench is shallow.

Anthony Edwards has scored 30 or more in half of his (15) career playoff games. He's averaging 29ppg in his career. Is it reasonable for the Nuggets to actually clamp him? At this point even at his precocious age, he is going to get his and that's enough of a sample size to tell us that he raises his game when it matters most.

Can Christian Braun and Peyton Watson give the Nuggets anything offensively in this series? They will be going against Reid and Alexander-Walker who will play just as much defense as they will, but who are also not hesitant to let it fly.

Monte Morris vs. Reggie Jackson is a wash. Kyle Anderson has been bad a lot of the year, but Minnesota will still give him minutes even if he just commits fouls. It's possible the minutes he and Justin Holiday play might wnd up swinging a game.

Wolves will get one more than last year. Nuggets in 6.

I expect Ant to play closer to his season averages than the blowout Suns numbers, given that the Nuggets have at least a marginally better backcourt defense.

This feels like it will be the best series of the playoffs.
