Yes, he will. He’s not that different in age to when guys like David Robinson, Karl Malone, Chris Paul, and Patrick Ewing first made the conference finals. So there’s plenty of precedent for great players to have not made the conference finals at this point and then to later make the Finals. I suspect Embiid will be similar, though maybe his body will break down and it just won’t end up happening. I hope he never does, since I don’t like watching him and think he is a danger to other players on the court with him (due to both intentional behavior and the constant falling), but he’s good enough that I think we should expect that he will at some point.

I think he'll get to one eventually. The key is his health, he needs to pace himself in the regular season.

Play less than 30mins per game and sit out against bad teams instead of stat padding against them.

Come into the playoffs fresh and healthy as possible.
