Can we get a little commotion for Christian Braun?

11 points with only one miss. Sank 4 free throws. Doing the dirty work at both ends, hustling for boards and dishing out hard fouls when necessary.

The Nuggets have a consummate role player on their hands. Not bad for the 21st pick.

Liked him a lot in college and thought he'd make a great role player. He plays hard, is a pretty good athlete, and can shoot it some. He has great energy.

Doesn't feel thread-worthy to me. He's a good player. Just doing what he does. His on-ball defense is incredible.

He was horrible against the Lakers. Kudos for shaking it off and being a pro and coming to play when his number's called. Justin Holiday has done great for the Nuggets as well.

Very good game, but this year he's been disappointing. He didn't improve much from last year.

The best word to describe him was just mentioned: winner.

He's a really solid athlete who is built STURDY and the only guy who doesn't bounce off Ant when AE drives to the rim.

Yes he did. His shooting wasn't as consistent as last year, but every other area of his game grew significantly. His responsibilities on offense were drastically increased, even being relied upon to run the point and play power forward in the same game sometimes.

He's really showing some potential all year. But he's inconsistent. If the Nuggets are going to pull this series out and go further, they need this kind of help. With Watson seemingly struggling even more it's critical that he steps up. But the bottom line is you can't win a title without your bench giving you something.

Braun is a 3 and D specialist who mirrors some of KCP's skills. At 6'7 with quick feet, he may be headed for the starting lineup next year, if KCP walks at the end of the season. Inconsistent offense is a concern but his defense is outstanding.
