If they have money, go get Nic Claxton. He's a free agent this summer.

Get Jarrett Allen and an experienced SG who can shoot
You have enough assets to pull it off

They need to find a way to vet all the big men in the league and the next 2 drafts so they don't get a lemon like Gordon Hayward.
Aaron Gordon, Devin Booker, Tyrese Halliburton, Trae Young, Anthony Edwards and Luka Doncic all made the Conference Finals.

Good progress for first year playoff team, but obviously some work to do. They have lots of young talent, assets and cap space, so while I support Presti not making knee jerk impulse moves at the deadline , now Presti needs to begin tweaking.
Overall highly successful season given expectations at the beginning of the season.

Didn't he help them get all of Lively, Gafford and Washington?

If Kevin Love ops out - they should go after him. He would be so perfect and has another year left in the tank for a PO run

Keep FO (one of the best in the league). Keep the coach (young and good)
Performed better than expected in a very deep tuff West. Young team a year ahead of schedule.
Rising team. They will most likely will be contenders for years to come and win a championship some time. Tons of youth, assets, cap room, etc. They need another proven vet or 2 and def need another big.

I agree with not making knee jerk trades, but surely they could have done more than they did? You never know how things are going to work out in the future and they knew this team had a serious chance this year before the deadline. Given the amount of flexibility and assets they have they could have done something more without giving up the future.
Time will tell I guess, Hayward's expiring will be valuable in a trade for salary matching and they now have a clearer picture of how the team performs in the playoffs and exactly what's needed I guess.

Love would be prefect for OKC.

I mean yeah if a deal was available then he should have, but forcing it is a bad move. I'm not sure there was a move worth making.

Re: Post Mortem 2023/24 - Oklahoma City Thunder (Eliminated in West Semis)
Try for Lauri, when that fails bc Ainge demands the sun and moon pivot to rope player upgrades.
Giddey, Dieng, Kenrich and a handful of SRP for Grant Williams. - Overpay but they dump Kenrich who has become non rotational in the playoffs and ensure there is cap space for…
Sign Nic Claxton - Just literally exactly what they need, iHart works too if Nic gets wild offers
Draft Tristan #12 - See Deni type upside here, elite connector, good enough to play either F spot his rookie year when the inevitable injuries occur.
Pay Wiggins and Joe if it’s reasonable.
G - Shai Gilgeous-Alexander / Cason Wallace
G - Lou Dort / Isaiah Joe / Aaron Wiggins
F - Jalen Williams / Aaron Wiggins / Tristan da Silva
F - Chet Holmgren* / Grant Williams / Tristan da Silva
C - Nic Claxton / Chet Holmgren / Jaylin Williams
* Really only plays like 10 mins at PF while eating all the backup C minutes to Claxton (About 20 IMO)

Acquire a rebounding C, trade Giddey. Just to start but that is the minimum they learned from this group's first playoff run.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.
