What ever happened to him? Do you think that he will ever coach again?

Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:

"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

Rudy quit half way through the 04-05 season because of health and he became a scout for the Lakers.

Wow, some of these people's comments are outrageous. Rudy never did drugs, he didn't die (I don't know where you came up with that), and yes he's a scout for the Lakers.

Rudy had serious health problems (I want to say kidney failure, but I'm not certain) while coaching for the Rockets back 3 years ago. He returned to BBall after he had recovered, and is currently a scout for the Lakers.

Chuck Barkley hates the Rockets for "firing" Rudy T. But it was his own choice (and a good one in my opinion) that he quit coaching.

He was coach for our only 2 titles in franchise, coined the phrase "heart of a champion" and is a man I have nothing but the utmost respect for.

Didn't he have cancer? I remember him missing some games during the season and the Rockets players wearing headbands to support him.

Rudy has admitted to fighting alcoholism. I hope he is doing well, one of the greats of all time in the NBA

Actually, after getting his skull cracked into two by Kermit Washington and still winning 2 rings, I would also take it easier.

That Kermit Washington punch is crazy, I read a book about that called "The Punch" its a good book.

Rudy was great with the Rockets but quit for health reasons then was hired when Phil left the Lakers but resigned like 20 games into the saeson for more health reason (was it testicular cancer?).
Go Knicks!
