Chicago guard jam doesn't seem to be much of a problem now. Hughes out, Thabo in. Hinrich out, now Hughes in.

they can better showcase Gordon or Hughes for a potential trade! They'll be fine.

Definitely laughing out loud now.

Seriously though, all this is doing is making sure Paxon isn't confirmed as a moron by keeping the guard glut at bay. The problem is that Kirk is the best back-up PG and the best defender period out of our guards. God forbid our management get the idea in their head that hughes can take the back-up pg role...

Well, I don't think Chicago was going anywhere anyway and Rose was gonna play with or without Hinrich. More than anything this just puts any potential trades on hold for a few months, but he should be back with plenty of time to get something done before the deadline.

Blessing for Rose's development. He has to play 35-40 minutes a game now.

Rose was already playing 36+ MPG before Hinrich got hurt. And are you forgetting about Rose's knee issues? If he plays 40 minutes every game, those are more likely to start flaring up again.

It also leaves the team without it's 2nd best ball handler, it's 2nd best outside shooter and its best perimeter defender.

I know a lot of people think Hinrich is overrated, but the Bulls are still worse off now then they were before this injury occurred.

Especially because now there's about 0% of making any significant trades.

It's not gonna hurt the Bulls at all. They still got Rose/Gordon/Sefolosha/Hughes in their backourt rotation.

I'm happy no Hinrich no hughes couldn't be happier. BG gets to play and rose receives more minutes. Everything is working out perfectly

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.
