Rafael Arajuo...

Then LeBron James. James LeBron would make much much more sense.
Everyone underrated Kobe's ego and just thought he would be Paul Pierce when Garnett and Allen joined, instead he went Black Mamba and turned Dwight into Kwame and Nash into Smush.

My favourite names are the ones where the parents clearly didn't know how to properly spell them so just pretended they were trying to be unique. Dwyane, Micheal etc.

and theres a Shaquille Johnson on Marshall, born before Shaq got to the NBA too, so somehow Shaq isn't an original name I guess

Gift? I'm not sure where did you get that but;

In Arabic, Hidayet means "true way" or "right way" which refers to Allah's way=Islam.

Hidayet's name is "weird" because it's uncommon in Turkish. That's what I meant.

That's actually the best name ever. Too bad his real name was Lloyd Bernard.

Chad Ochocinco? Anyone?

Seriously though,

American: Jrue (Seems like parents were trying as hard as they could to sound unique.)
Non-American: Hedo (His real turkish name of course.)
