He was a seasoned player ( all 4 years) when he came out of Wake Forest...I wouldn't even really consider him part of that 2003 "core" he's way too old.

If you watch enough games, you'll see this is actually a fairly common sight.

Remember this off season how many Wizz fans were saying their team was 4th best in the east?

funny stuff.
Embiid wanted to win so badly, he deliberately injured Mitchell Robinson.

Classy.

Haywood and Butler have been a huge upgrade in Dallas. Blatche is obviously a good player and Jamison is 20/10 to round out the frontcourt. Mike Miller, Randy Foye and Gilbert Arenas in the backcourt and that's an awful lot of talent.

On paper, that still looks like the 4th best team in the East, but the chemistry turned out to be awful.

Must be nice to have freaking Al thorton come off the bench behind Josh Howard. Im sure Al will fill in nicely.

Edit:
It would be interesting to see what the Wiz could get for Arenas in the off season and go into complete rebuild mode. Nick Young, Blatche seem like good up and coming young players as does Foye, and Al Throton. Maybe you keep Gil to have a go to scoring option or maybe you move him for another player of his caliber.

What a great trade for the Mavericks.
