Again, TNT Screws Me Over!!!

Post#1 » by SunsWinSunsWin » Fri Mar 5, 2010 3:49 am

This is now my third damn topic about how TNT's format screws over West Coast fans. Again the first game goes long and into damn OT and I am going to miss the first quarter of Jazz/Suns.

I guess it doesn't matter how huge of a game this is for the Suns who can jump into 4th in the West with a win tonight. Who gives two S%@#s about Lakers/Heat?

TNT, learn from Fox and CBS and allow the fans in the markets playing the second game of a double header to watch it from the beginning. This is very upsetting!

I'd rather watch any OT game against the 1st quarter of even my 2 favourite teams

Usually I would agree and I know that the 4th quarter/OT is where the game is won but I should get the option to choose. At least let the local markets air the game as well like ESPN allows...

If it's your 3rd thread about the same thing, why keep beating a dead horse? Is this thread going to do anything to get anything changed? Doubt it. Why not start sending letters to TNT instead?

You're right, a score of 6 - 4 with 45 minutes left in the game is much more exciting to a NATIONAL AUDIENCE than 105 each with 2 mins left in OT, in a game that has had more lead changes than any other this season to date...

If it was a blow out I'd understand, but its not.

You obviously didn't read my post as I said to allow the fans in the markets the teams in the 2nd game play in to choose which game to watch. Not the entire nation. ESPN at least allows the local networks to broadcast their games along side with them. TNT does not allow this. Look how CBS and FOX will switch between games at least or make the decision to put the beginning of the 2nd game over the end of the first.

They just need to have NBA TV show the second game until the first game is over, much like ESPN/ABC does with ESPN2.

Not everyone has NBA TV. And honestly... I'd watch an overtime clipper game against the nets instead of the a laker game with celtics. (ok, maybe not... but you get the point)

How the heck are you upset about watching one of the greatest finishers of all time play in overtime?... Some of us are very spoiled and don't appreciate Kobe's splendor.

They broke the streak by beating Dallas on January 28th.

Worse than the fact that I had to miss the 1st quarter is that I had to spend the next 3 quarters listening to Doug Collins.
