i'm not sure what he will choose, i certainly don't think its as simple as if orlando win a title he should wear a magic one.

for me, i will always think of his raptor days when i hear his name and perhaps the first few years with new jersey

Why does it feel like there is a post about this every week.
Anyway, I am going to outline the reasons why he doesn't deserve to make it.
#1-His team success
His teams have never made it past the second round. He has had a below 500 record in 4 seasons, and there were only 3 seasons where his teams were more than 2 games over 500. He got swept in the first round twice. The only 3 playoff teams he has beaten have been the Knicks, who fell apart the next season with the same roster, the Pacers when they were on their last legs, and the fluke Raptors team. None of these wins really deserve any big praise. People bash T-Mac for never passing the first round, but if he played these teams he would have at least once. Also, his best team before this season has won 49 games. That is kinda lame for hall-of-fame standards.
#2-Personal accomplishments
Never a serious MVP candidate. Hasn't even made the All-NBA first team. He has made all-star games due to reputation instead of play, so those numbers are inflated.
#3 Dunking as criteria for the Hall-of-Fame
It really should only be a small factor. Being able to do cool dunks does not win basketball games. I don't know why people think that that even matters. I find it funny that Vince was the one to say dunking was overrateted as a joke, while in fact it was one of the most correct things he has ever said.
#4-The whole tanking in Toronto thing
A lot of people are going to whine about how this didn't happen and all that, and I don't really want to debate that. But assuming he did, it should be a serious black mark on him as a player. How many hall of famers have openly quit on a team?


Also, I am pretty sure that people don't go in wearing jerseys. Assuming they did though, it has to be Toronto due to popularity. With the Nets, his popularity dwindled quickly.
