On the ESPN Portland boards most of them actually believe Durant will flame out and Oden will end up the better player in a few years. :lol:

Actually I love Cowherd I think he's funny but I don't agree with his view on Durant even today he still calls him over rated. That will change.

I'm glad that all this 'team of the future' nonsense is getting forgotten as the reality and limitations of Portlands talent base has been exposed. The Blazers are a good team and have a mediocre to good future but nothing more then that and certainly not title challenging.. unless they manage to drastically upgrade their core, anyway.

As for their injuries, the fact that they have gardly missed a beat despite the likes of Odens absense shows just how easy to replace he is.
