Where does Wade. Lebron and Bosh rank?

Post#1 » by LAKERS_1981 » Tue Jun 29, 2010 12:49 pm

If they all played together are they the strongest 3 player on the same team in the history of the NBA?
There have been some great players been together.
West, Baylor and Wilt
Bird, Kevin and Paris
Magic, Jabbar and Worthy
Kobe, Shaq and Malone
Jordan, Pippen and Rodman
Lakers 72,80,82,85,87,88,00,01,02,09 and 10 champions

I think when you factor in the way the NBA is set-up today, I think they are. Today's NBA is just not the same as the NBA in the past.

It would be really a gutsy move for LeBron. I don't think there is any chance that he is viewed as the GOAT if he joins that loaded team in Miami.

Seeing as how the Celtic big 3 and Lakers were dueling around the same time, its likely this big 3 would be top 3, its hard to say but depending on success you could argue they would the best with potential GOAT player, potential top 15 player and top 10 player in todays game.

They'd almost be the freakin east all star team starters. Of course they'd be the best of all time. If this happened it would be hard to continue being a fan of the NBA.
BAF Pacers

F. Campazzo/ J. Clarkson/ K. Lewis Jr
D. Mitchell/ J. Richardson/S. Merrill
Luka/Melo
Zion/Gay/Gabriel
KAT/Kabengele

F. Mason, Jontay, J. Harris

I'd put them behind West/Baylor/Wilt, Magic/Jabbar/Worthy and Jordan/Pippen/Rodman. I think Rodman adds more value to a high scoring duo than Chris Bosh.

If they end up together, it will hinge on how many titles they win.

Pierce
Allen
Garnett

Lebron
Wade
Bosh

Lebron >>>> Pierce
Wade >>>>>Allen
Garnett >> Bosh

Two top 2-3 players and a top 12 player on one team.

Not fair.

I was lucky enough to experience Magic,Jabbar and Worthy play as an older kid while being a die hard Lakers fan living for 2 years in LA due to my parents line of work .. followed them until the bad news of Riley departing and Magic's retirement .. became a die hard Heat fan from day one due to Miami being my home City .. living in Orlando was able to hang out with Dominic a couple of times due to my previous line of work as he used to own a night club in O-town .. was at the Orlando rookie summer camp in 2003 where the likes of LBJ, Wade were present and was able to experienced rookie Wade's amazing skill that resembled MJ like no other. So as a die hard fan of Magic and Wade I most say that a LBJ/Wade/bosh trio is superior talent wise than Magic/Worthy/Jabbar due to the freakish athletic abilities of LBJ and Wade, a big PG like Magic that weights 260 pounds and is as quick as a bullet and a smaller strong low gravity speedster that can block 7 footers. Still at the end is the winning that will create legacies and separate those players.

If all of these rumors are true then as a trio, they would rank right up there with the best. As a team, only time will tell.

you are comparing a potential combination that has won nothing together against combinations that have. so right now, the wade/lebron/bosh combination ranks at the bottom next to stockton/malone/hornacek or payton/kemp/schrempf.

oh and btw, that laker combination was a FOUR-HEADED attack. the oft forgotten jamaal keith wilkes who has #'s "worthy" of any hof'er + some accolades and achievements many others failed at getting.

1. Magic / Kareem / Worthy
2. West / Baylor / Wilt
3. Jordan / Pippen / Rodman
4. Wade / LeBron / Bosh

I think they have potential to be one of the 2 or 3 best trios this league has ever seen. Give Riley 2 years with some first round picks, 2 years worth of MLE to give out, and ring chasers willing to sign for less money for a chance to win and they will the most star studded teams along with one of the deepest teams in the league. They also have Toronto's 1st round pick from the JON-Marion trade which goes lottery unprotected in '14 (I believe) if the Raptors don't make the playoffs within that span.

I think alot of people forget how good Jabbar was. the positions cant be compared but Wade/LeBron/Bosh , none of them would stop Jabbar.

Bosh is a solid player but I wouldnt make him an allstar.
My 2 cents is worth 5 cents.

Best offensive trio, but not the best trio, and i don't think they would fit that well together. They'd probably win some chip though. :)
