Josh Boone has a significantly bigger impact on the court than Bargnani. Oh well, it's not that big of a deal, now everyone is going to get to see Bargnani get posterized by Sean Williams !

Maybe we can catch a post game interview of Sean after he wins MVP? His glaring personality should be in display for everyone to see. (Boki, Boki, Boki, Boki)

I imagine that has everything to do with it. Doesn't make it the right decision. Looking at the stats:

Bargnani: 8.9 ppg on .375 FG% and 3.6 rpg in 22.6 minutes.
Smith: 9.8 ppg on .547% FG% and 4.7 rpg in 20.8 minutes.

Stats don't tell the whole story, and I haven't seen Bargs play much this year, but judging by what I've read I'd say Craig should've been chosen over him easily.

bargs doesnt deserve to be there. i think 2 or 3 players (Boone, Smith) should be there ahead of him. hopefully being selected can boost his confidence.

The simple fact that opposing teams/fans celebrate when Bargs comes into the game should be enough to keep him out of the game. :D

Rooks

PG:Conley
SG: Durant
SF: Moon
PF: Sean
C:Horford

Sophs

PG: Rondo
SG:*Roy*
SF:*Gay*
PF: Aldridge
C: Millsap

Roy and Gay are really the only two studs that will be on both teams for sure. And they both play for Soph. So I'm going to have to go with them especially since it's all-star game where wings generally have more prominence then traditional big play.

I like the Sophmore in this one. Roy and Lamarcus are enough to lead them into victory.

I think they left some deserving players out of the game..but with that said, I'm taking the sophomores on this one.

Bargnani shouldn't be in there over Smith and Boone, but that's what being the number 1 pick gets you.

Sophomores by 10.

I definitely want the rookies to win. The sophomores have a better team though.

Sophs almost always crush the rookies in this game. Can't see how this year would be any different...

With the Bargnani selection, keep in mind that they are angling for entertainment, and to essentially create an infomercial for the league as a whole. I love Craig Smith's game, but he's a role player...the game exists primarily for the announcers to swoon and play the "wow, the NBA is in great shape with this plethora of prodigal players" (okay, only if Clyde Frazier was doing colour).

Moon and Gay in an exhibition game should be fun to watch, though.
