Team Paul easily. They're much better offensively and still a very good defensive unit.

They've got 4 guys who can go off for 30 at any time and all 4 with the ability to play off the ball. I think Roy and CP3 are unselfish enough to share the ball/backcourt.

Ariza becomes the 5th option roleplayer he should be.

I take team Paul with Dwight being the x-factor.
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

Firstly, Laimbeer isn't better than Howard. But if you truly believe this, stop hyping up Isiah Thomas, because that means you don't believe Isiah was the best player on his team.

Everyones forgeting that Howard falls apart when Sheed steps on the court. He cant score or rebound against Sheed. If Sheed is on the court you might as well replace Howard with Darko because there stats and play will be the same.

The Pistons team is just so much better on defense that I cant see the game being close. Pince is going to post up Ariza all game long and theres no help defense from Pauls team. Isiah will be able to get to the rim with ease with no shot blockers on Pauls team.

Realy how could Howard get rebounds and block a shot while playing defense on the 3pt line against either Bill or Sheed?

First off this appears to be a new Dwight Howard this year.

Second, if you want to post up Prince all game, go ahead. He's not a great scorer at all. Not to mention Ariza is a very good defender with length.

Third, I'll leave Laimbeer open from 3. He's a career 32.6% 3 pt. shooter who's career high in attempts is by far the 2 he put up in 90. Sheed is a career 33.7% 3 pt shooter who's career high in makes was never over 2 a game. If he wants to camp out at the 3 pt line instead of in the post where he's best that's fine with me. So yeah, I'm not concerned about them at all.

You already have an elite PG Chris Paul and then you give him an elite defending C Dwight Howard?

This is a pointless thread. Team Paul easily.

How fast would Howard get techs playing against Laimbeer? I just dont see him or Ariza or West as being mentaly mature enough to win.

I just dont get how if this team can beat Magic/KAJ or Shaq/Kobe or MJ/Pippen it cant beat CP3/Howard. You realy have to make to a case to this Pistons fan how CP3/Howard are so much superior to MJ/Pippen or Shaq/Kobe that they can over come the Pistons stars.

Its just a horrible mismatch of Isiah vs that team. Hes 1 maybe 2 steps faster than Paul. Again where is Howard on defense? Guarding Sheed at 17ft or Laimbeer at 20ft from the basket? How do they guard the pick and pop of Laimbeer/Isiah? Its a layup drill and a dunk fest for Prince.

This is also peak Sheed who was considered on par with Duncan. He has a huge mismatch over West and Ariza is the worst player on the floor. Howard has no shooters to get him space in paint and has to contend with 2 super defenders. Ariza and West dont play any defense and CP3 isnt athletic enough to stay in front of his man.

Isiah 21ppg 14apg
Dumars 24ppg
Prince 15ppg
Sheed 19ppg 8rpg
Bill 18ppg 12rpg

Old sheed contained Howard pretty easily, a prime sheed would absolutely eat him alive....
Team Isiah relatively comfortably.

How's this team not as good as the Bad Boys? Prime Sheed is way better than anything they had at the four. Tay isn't an Aquirre/Rodman platoon, but he's good enough. Prime Sheed is a big handful for Dwight and he and Paul are the kind of guys to get unnerved. Ariza, West, and Roy are all overmatched.
