Are you referring to careers, peak play, or just overall impact?

Edit: I'm assuming you mean just their abilities as players, so i'd say the gap is bigger between Pippen/KG. If KG had won 3-5 titles him and Kareem would be a legitimate debate.

Probably Pippen/KG. It's hard for me to admit that because Pippen is my favorite player of all-time. I just think KG was really underrated and he would be even more underrated if he didn't win a championship as a member of the Celtics.

KAreem. KG is somewhat better than Pippen, but 10 spots down to Pippen isnt nearly as significant a gap as 10 spots up to KAJ. Kareem was absurdly good in ways KG and Pippen can't even imagine. KG's defensive impact isnt nearly as significant as his defensive reputation. And offensively, as good and as versatile as KG was, he's way behind Kareem.

Pippen is essentially a shorter version of KG. Doesnt rebound nearly as well, but is an even better playmaker as would be expected. Both extremely effective defenders both on-ball and as elite help defenders. Probably teh best two non-shot-blocker help defenders ever. Both guys could and did guard 4 positions. Both better offensive players than given credit for. Both ideally a 2nd option on offense, something only Pip got the luxury of being, but both pretty successful as a number 1.

But Kareem is just way above even KG

I'd say the gap is roughly the same between Kareem/KG and KG/Pippen, but I'd say the Kareem/KG gap is slightly bigger.

Agree with Chuck's post. KG being a bigger, clearly better version of Scottie sums it up for me. Both were best suited as the #2 offensive option, but gave you just so much value in all areas of the game. Garnett is IMO clearly more of a leader, even more because of his personality rather than his superiority as a player.

Funny how most people say the KG/Pippen gap is bigger, but the poll shows something totally opposite, with Kareem/KG leading 7-0.

Garnett is a better, overglorified Scottie Pippen.
Kareem is a GOAT-candidate.

Easy choice for me: Kareem/KG.
PC Board All Time Fantasy Draft:

PG Mark Price (92-94)
SG Manu Ginobili (05-07)
SF Larry Bird (84-86)
PF Horace Grant (93-95)
C Dwight Howard (09-11)
+
Bernard King (82-84) Vlade Divac (95-97) Derek Harper (88-90) Dan Majerle (91-93) Josh Smith (10-12)

For me, the gap in ranking order is probably bigger with Pippen/KG. But the actual performance gap is bigger from Kareem/KG. Make sense?
