What would your five man unit to challenge them be?

Fit needs to be considered too.

I would go:

PG: Steph Curry
SG: Andre Igoudala
SF: Kevin Durant
PF: Dirk Nowitzki
C: Joakim Noah

I would also consider Duncan, Davis and Ibaka for the 4 and 5 spot.

Are you drunk ardee? Aliens? :D

The team you present, I pretty much agree on. Perfect fit.

Healhty Bogut would be my choice over Noah, albeit a rather small one.
Cp3 is too ball reliant with KD and LeBron and the shooting of Curry is a better fit.

Dirk is my first choice at the 4, with HMs to Davis and Melo.

C - Dwight Howard
PF - Pau Gasol
SF - Metta World Peace
SG - Kobe Bryant
PG - Steve Nash

Coach: Mike D'Antoni

I bet this team wins every time they step on the court. In the NBA, they'd probably win a 73 games, including 34 in a row. Can you just imagine if this line-up actually existed... EVER? It'd be insane! I can see them winning against anyone, whether they be aliens or a reincarnation of the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls.

You would have been better off creating a thread asking people what their all NBA first team would be.

We probably wouldn't beat aliens without MJ, although I would just take the best possible players, which means that LeBron and Durant absolutely have to be on this team.

CP3
Durant
LeBron
Love
Noah

Alternatively, Team Space Jam gets resurrected.

Muggsy
Jordan
Bird
Barkley
Ewing

With Grandmama and Shawn Bradley off the pine.

Ain't too shabby, either.

They'd get zoned and Lebron, Iggy, and to a lesser extent Noah like to play with the ball in their hands but Lebron at PG is interesting. Iggy's teammate Klay might be a better fit at SG. I'll go;

Dragic
Batum
Lebron
LMA
M.Gasol

Our bigs aren't great rebounders but Lebron/Batum at 6.9 and 7.5 rpg respectively. Good ball movement, solid defense, secondary playmaking, spacing, etc. Everything just kind of works.

Debated Noah at C, but Gasol has a low post game and although both are great passers with Dragic/LBJ running the show and Batum making plays (5.1 apg) Noah wouldn't shine like he is for the Bulls this season.

I was thinking about swapping Iggy with Kawhi. I think that could work.

Depends on which aliens. If it's the aliens from Mars Attacks or ET then I'd be pretty confident throwing out an average high school team against them.

If it's a team of aliens from the Alien series then:

Stephen Curry
Kyle Korver
Kevin Durant
Kevin Love
Channing Frye

I doubt we're getting anything easy at the rim against those aliens, so the best bet is to take a bunch of 3s and hope they go in often enough.

Don't care who's playing, Pop's the coach. He's the only person in the NBA I'm confident is capable of outsmarting aliens.

MJ and the Looney Tunes easily. They are 1- 0 vs. Alien teams, proving they match up well with extraterrestrials.

DeAndre Jordan
Blake Griffin
LeBron James
Kevin Durant
Stephen Curry

I'm going big. I can't afford to have Noah in there facing a giant 7'3" brute with offensive skills. I can't trust Bogut's health, and I don't like Gasol's rebounding, so I'm rolling with DeAndre. Nobody plays bigger than DeAndre.

Durant is out of place at SG, but I need the second best player in the world on my team.

I'm not going with some stretch 4 bull. Not taking a chance that those 3's dry up. I want a legitimate POWER forward. Blake allows me to run, makes the most use of Jordan, and now has the jumper to compliment KD/LBJ.

Stephen Curry
Paul George
Kevin Durant
LeBron James
Andre Drummond

Bench
Brandon Jennings
JR Smith
Metra World Peace
Kevin Garnett
Demarcus Cousins

I want a sub line-up that won't take any **** off of any aliens.
