As for KCP, I have him in the Top 15. Average-to-above average SG. Voted for above average.

The "Is Korver the 2nd best player in the Eastern Conference?" thread from 2015 is one of my all time favorites

He's pretty good, and a valuable player for any team to have.

He's got very good defence. His RAPM and on/off numbers are pretty good - 0.94 single year, 1.42 multi-year and he's got the second best defensive on/off (-2.7) of all relevant Pistons players. Honestly though, I feel like these numbers undersell him a bit. He is a PESKY defender. The defence he played on Stephen Curry in the Pistons victory last season was mesmerising, and he is an absolute workhorse who keeps it up for prolonged minutes.

He also plays a brand of defence that is sturdier in different defensive environments - given that he specialises in being a "lock down defender," he is less reliant on, say, playing the passing lanes, which can vary in impact heavily based on the defence around him (gambling is going to have less negative consequence if Tim Duncan is fixing your mistakes than if you had Enes Kanter). A positive, resilient defender that plays heavy minutes is a good player to have on any team.

Offensively, he's okay, as long as he's not given too much responsibility. He's not really a shot creator, but he's got an underrated (and improving) mid range game and spaces the floor enough to keep defences honest. Interestingly enough, his ORAPM (1.42 single year, 1.6 multi-year) actually exceeds his DRAPM! I'm not sure this is a fully accurate reflection of his impact, and I suspect that RAPM might have some issues completely segregating his ORAPM and DRAPM, but it does give some credence to the notion that he is, at the very least, an average offensive player.
I use a lot of parentheses when I post (it's a bad habit)

Won't be better than Harden and Klay most likely. Then there's Wade, Redick, Korver, Middleton, McCollum, Derozan, Batum, that have him beat. Then there's the others like Green or Oladipo that may or may not be better.

Also, Korver's generally pretty low, more so than he should be. He picked it up post All Star Break after dealing with injuries somewhere in december, where he only shot around 26% from 3 PT line for a very large sample size of games which ruined his averages to make him look like a sub 40-er. Basically, Healthy Korver's presence is still pretty easily Top 10 worthy amongst SG's. He can still shoot around 44% from 3 the way he ended the year. He also figures to have this offseason to himself entirely without any surgery unlike last offseason, so he can be a solid SG again next year.

Generally my issue with KCP is he's an average SG. Nothing really strikes out to me - might want to work on specialty. Defense, possibly - already shows potential, can work it up to an elite level if possible and get somewhere.

Middleton makes me laugh being that Pistons and fans were ready for his trade and walla. But the best laugh is Korver who in a system made for a shooter is great but everywhere else he was mediocre and off the bench. Defense matters and put Kentavious in a system which runs that is easily 6-8 more points a game. Again look @ the Cleveland series gms 1-3 that is what you are getting. The other thing is the constant if he is healthy. Durability and dependability counts.
