Just 2 guards? Only Harden. Curry/Westbrook/Paul if including all guards.
I bought a boat.

Curry, Westbrook and Paul. Roy made a mediocre team the best offense in the league. Stupidly skilled dude.

Curry, Harden, Westbrook, maybe CP3 as well. That's it. He'd probably be the 6th or 7th best player in the league right now.

Harden for SGs; Butler and Klay are close as both are much better defenders than Roy.

For PGs, Curry, Paul, and Westbrook. Lowry is close because he's a rare plus defender at the 1 in addition to being a playmaker (in the regular season at least).

LeBron
Curry
Durant
Kawhi
Westbrook
Harden
Paul George
Draymond

I'd take all of the above over peak Roy so maybe 9th or 10th best for me.

Whoops, meant #9 with CP3 in place of George. Shoutout to Davis if he can get back to '15 form (sort of similar for Harden).

I don't think I can see why people would put George over Roy? Explanation?

George is much better defensively. It's easy to argue that George's package of offense and defense is more valuable than Roy's great offense but average/mediocre defense. I'm a big fan of Roy so I wouldn't necessarily say so, but it's within the realm of possibility.

As far as the question, I would say Curry, Westbrook, CP3 and Harden are better, so Roy would be the 5th best guard today. Lowry, the way he played in RS last season, would be a bit better, too, but he struggled in the playoffs so I'm 50/50 on that.
