Kobe, not close, but this shouldn't detract the lightning in a bottle that is Klay Thompson.

Kobe. Klay's only argument is that he did it in 5 fewer shooting possessions. Kobe was a much more singular offensive hub against a much stronger opponent.

Kobe's might be more impressive, but we are probably more likely to see someone do something similar to what he did than we are to see Klay's performance replicated.

Really gives me some names please?

11 dribbles on his FG's. That stat got way overblown.

Klay is a deadly third option on the Warriors and the attention the previous two MVPs he plays with get him all kinds of open looks. Not diminishing his game, he was incredible and scoring 60 in 3 quarters is nuts, but imo Kobe had a more impressive game when you consider the context and the teams they play(ed) for

Wasn't that raptors team one of the worst defensive teams ever or something like that?

Bro! When you say names like Steph and KD and follow them up with Smush Parker and Kwami it sounds HYSTERICAL LMAO!

Clearly Kobe

Mavericks were a 60 win team that went to the finals that year. Kobe was also surrounded by poo poo plater.

That was the most impressive offensive performance in Kobe's career... which is itself remarkable. Given the competition and his teammates, I think this has to go to Kobe.

Klay's was an insane performance, I mean you don't generally get to that volume of points without doing something pretty special. It's much more rare, Kobe's final game notwithstanding (though that was impressive in its own way, and I don't mean that as a snide remark), so there's a baseline level of appreciation for both performances that must be agreed upon ITT, of course.

But yeah, I think I'm with the rest here in that the nature of what Kobe did is a little more impressive than what Klay did.

I think the fact that Klay only took 11 dribbles and only held the ball for something like 90 seconds is a testament to the team and ball movement around him. It was a great performance...but you can't deny that Kobe's was harder to achieve.
