These two are the definition of projects in the NBA, it's way too early. They both have sick tools and have flashed high upside, but it's just too early.

Just to speak on Thon... His jumper is money. Like he's a 40% 3PT shooter right now. Small sample size but it looks pure as hell. If our coach wasn't dumb, we'd be running way more PnPs, catch and shoots, etc. His recovery speed and court coverage on D is filthy, and his motor is relentless. By all accounts crazy work ethic, smart dude and super coachable.

Negatives are that he hasn't channeled his tools into impact yet, he's spazzy/lost frequently, like you'd expect. But he'll have these 'woah' plays where he guards a guard perfectly, recovers to challenge in the paint. Strength is an issue, he absolutely needs to get stronger to not get destroyed by bigger centers, and to withstand contact on offense. That's the big question for him. If he can gain like 15 pounds, he has a pretty good floor and the odds of reaching his high ceiling are much better.

Thon Maker. Skal needs more polishing, which means that he'll take more time to get there.

Skal. He's like 4 years younger than Thon.
