Also, Ben is starting to look like the real deal on defense. They dont even need him to score a lot, there is so much shooting on this team that a real playmaker may be exactly the right thing for them. One of the most interseting teams to follow this season imho.

Is it a blessing now?

Absolutely. The problem is that KD left, but Kyrie is toxic and team cancer. His new team didnt even make the playoffs. Do you disagree?

agreed, however the mavs weren't a good fit for him.

As i read today, the Lakers also arent interested in signing him. It feels like he made his tour through the league and noone who had to deal with him once, has a strong desire to go back.

I mean...he ruined everything in Brooklyn. The stupid anti vacc nonsense, then literally mobbing Steve Nash out, a guy who has done 10x as much as Kyrie, to telling them they dont need a coach, to telling them that he and KD would also manage the franchise. Then siding up with anti semites publicly and taking forever to at least pretend to regret that idiocy. All that just in that short Brooklyn stint. I dont even go to the flat earth stuff. Who would put up with that, if all you get is some fancy dribbling and iso scoring?

That 2021 Milwaukee series was the last hurrah for him I think. I will be very surprised if he has a relevant Playoff moment again.

Skip and SAS will be working overtime to keep that “best player in the league” narrative alive during the offseason.
Thanks for all the great memories, LeBron! The show must go on! #Heatnation

That was also in part due to coach Bud rolling out a red carpet for him so he could hit a wide open middy every time down. Bucks effectively just let Durant do whatever he wanted. Great series though.

CP3 is probably done. And yet this is another trade where his team loses somehow.

At a $16M cap hit CP3 is worth way more than Beal.

Suns will torch the Nuggets, if Denver makes it far enough to play them. This title will be remembered alot like the 06 Heat.

Eh. You might be right. The general setup of Beal/KD/Booker is so boring and just regressive as far as play style and skill set it makes no real sense to do it. Especially with no flexibility.

Their role players will be in hell mentally.

Maybe it would make no sense to do it if they didn’t do the trade for a bag of potato chips, besides Beal gives them more rim pressure than they had which was by far their biggest issue

People are overthinking it, it’s a high risk move with the new CBA rules but the team is substantially better than it was

He’s not feeling a reunion due to the Vogel hiring allegedly.
