Yup--Beal had no value [evidenced by the return].

KP was traded for Bertans/2nds, his value is re-couped and then some.

Kuzma looking like Dennis Schroeder, thinking he was getting the bag but at this rate he may end up getting closer to the MLE than to 20+ AAV.

Is this rumored? I feel as if some bottom-tier teams wouldn’t hesitate to pay Kuz somewhere in the higher teens. Would happily welcome him back in Los Angeles for the MLE perhaps

You don't want them to draft high-variance prospects with 99% physical tools who were excellent in high school and struggled and/or didn't play in college?

Emoni Bates would be a great option to lift some of the self-creation burden off of Curry!

I think it's time we introduce a 3rd, maybe 4th, timeline to the mix

Trading a guy that doesn't matter for someone who does.

Trading a scoring guard who isn't a good enough playmaker to elevate Tatum/Brown and is often injured for a big man who, while having similar injury questions, spaces the floor and is a good defender.

I mean I'm kind of meh on Brogdon, but I guess I just don't see Porzingis changing much for them in the playoffs.

Edit: For some reason I thought they were giving up a first but it seems I was mistaken.

Surprised people are pretty meh on this trade for Boston. I think this makes them title favorites if they can get their coaching situation together.

Much prefer this type of move to breaking up Tatum and Brown

I actually love the idea of experimenting with Porzingis. He's some type of God when coached well.

Well, I think they’re telling us how they think things would have gone for them against Denver if they had beat the Heat.

Will be interesting to see how they expect KP and RW to work together. And I think it has to mean that RW may end up on another team in the near future, which is really not how things were going under Udoka.

Now that you mention it, Jordan Poole would look striking in green

I guess, but I'm not of the view that Porzingis would have done much to change that. Maybe I'm just being too low on him.

Well, if you're not high on Porzingis, they I wouldn't expect you to try to trade for him. It wasn't on my mind for the Celtics either, but if the rumor is real, they see getting him as their best option.

I'll say that it's easy to see this backfiring, but the Celtics have a pretty good track record so I'm curious to see it.

I'm high on acquiring Porzingis in theory. Already felt Boston was the 2nd best team in the league last year, and I wonder if anyone could take that label (as well as the mantle from Denver) next season. Assuming Boston keeps Horford and R. Williams, I like that big-man room a lot - and feel Porzingis could add a less predictable / mechanical dimension to Boston's offense. Of-course, defensive motor, team rebounding, and durability are concerns here.. so I guess we will wait and see.
