Honestly Lebron and AD playing like this and them still winning isn't the worst sign tbh.

This team hasn’t got a chance in hell vs Denver, but at least they’ll probably push hard for a game and make it respectable. However, their season is over.

The play-in tournament is so stupid but whatever. Glad they’re in the playoffs, though they got screwed with seeding. Should be the 8th seed facing OKC. Let’s get it.

Busting ass on both ends isn't meant for 39 year olds. His motor obviously is a far cry from what it once was. He looked exhausted most of the 2nd half (along with a lot of bad decision making too).

Yeah, Lakers finally have scoring depth (D'lo), defense is respectable and Vincent gives some depth from the bench - the series against Nuggets will be much closer than a year ago, even if with the same outcome, unfortunately.

LeBron and AD went 12/36, pathetic performance offensively from both.

D'Angelo - best player today, 21-7 on 70TS% - if there's a player on this rotation who played above expected value of his contract this year, it's him.

To be honest, the real sad thing is that Hamalytics Messed up a season, which should’ve been a lot better than it was. Right now, as things stand, I would not be confident in any team beating the Lakers in a seven game series other than the Celtics and the Nuggets. But here they are as a seven seed and very likely to lose to the Denver Nuggets.

They'll definitely put up a better fight than last season based on LeBron's health alone. He was 70% at best last postseason. Could barely do anything off the dribble.

Also, even though Brandon Ingram is good at a few things, the pelicans would’ve been much better off just playing Murphy and letting him gun from three-point range like he was against the Warriors the other night.

Reggie being mystified as to why Ingram got benched wasn't annoying at all...

From a result standpoint no, from a process standpoint i am very concerned - because they’re not gonna take game 1 without a huge 180 mentally.

The other side of the bracket is far more appealing. I think the Lakers would have a real shot against OKC, I would favor them against LAC, and I would give a very slight edge to DAL.

If by some injury-induced miracle they beat DEN, I would still favor either MIN or PHX against them.

But midrange, middy, midrange assassin, Durant-lite, etc. He also didn’t play very good defense, doesn’t play make. Trey Murphy gunning 30 ft threes is much more scary.

Gotta love how all the playcalling improvements the last few games went completely out the window once the Lakers got overconfident and decided to turn the game into an iso-fest
LeBron's NBA Cup MVP is more valuable than either of KD's Finals MVPs. This is the word of the Lord

The 2nd play-in game is going be at home, not on the road.

I talked about two games in NO
