It’s not even about Portland. DA’s sleepwalking vibes would be at an all time high on this team. That’s the issue when you hitch your wagon to KD though. The team wide identity with no leadership is just going thru the motions.
A versatile, consistent, high motor guy like Mikal would be the better hypothetical addition.

It might’ve literally until the last week of the season for Beal to find his groove. Also, KD played his most minutes since 2014 and wore down down the stretch but now gets a week off.
