I don't know what you are blathering about, Stephe A Smith is blatant racist and not just him on that network. They can't grasp the fact that there are white foreign players in the league who are schooling black players. They think that basketball is just black man's game.

Embiid and KAT high scoring games are legit and Embiid is sending message to the league with that performance against San Antonio according to him  But Luka Doncic was playing against non existing defense. All animals are not equal . He's calling Jokic tub of lard, "affectionately". The guy is the racist garbage.

It wasn't garbage time because neither Luka nor the rest of his team played any defense, which is why they gave up 143 points.

So what I said.

Sure, but your implication seemed to be that Kobe's performance was somehow lesser because he played garbage time. It wasn't.

If that wasn't your implication, then I guess that we both agree that Kobe's performance was as impressive as Luka's or moreso.

Kobe had 81 points on 46 shots. 61 FG%. It was a great scoring performance. He added 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Luka had 73 points on 33 shots. 76% FG%. He added 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Luka accounted for more total points. It was an incredible all around performance. Luka shot a lot better, too. IMO, Luka had the better game. But BOTH incredible games.

just no reason to bring Kobe into this to get his fans all heated up. Luka's performance was incredible independent of Kobe's. No reason to turn everything into a fight.

so I'm not a fan of Kyrie, but sometimes I forget just how absurdly skilled he is as a scorer. His bag is so full. He was putting it on display last night.

Kyrie and Luka's efforts on defense are there. With the increase in health and size of their front court, they are going to win more games.

Gafford gets a special mention, two games for Mavs:
in 20.5m averaging 17.5p/13r/3b

Gafford is ok. I think I still prefer Lively to start.

Lively is taller and connects to Luka better, but this might be because Gafford is new to Luka's lob passes. Another thing Lively is better at his ability to move the ball. He should be able to get PJ more easy baskets.

Either way, these two split the time is SO MCUH better than between Dwight Powell and GW when Lively/Kleber injured.

Yeah. Lively's passing just stands out to me. The offense flows better with him on the floor. Great thing to see for a rookie.

Doncic's heavy domination of the ball is not the winning basketball. He's trending to be James Harden of this generation. Yes, he will break lots of individual records but it wont translate to the winning. He will have to change his playing style in order to have the team success. His best team success in Euroleague and with his NT was due to him not being heavy dominant with the ball. He was sharing the ball with his fellow guards, like Campazzo,Dragic etc. If they don't make the play off's this season I would be very concerned if I am Mavericks organization. There is no excuse for them that they are not the top 4 teams in the Western Conference, with the two all stars and the good supporting cast.
