I remember the hysteria following a few bad shooting games in December that got people wondering if he lost his touch. Then he goes an entire month shooting 75% FG.

Yeah, people like to worry for no particularly sensible reason... especially if they are actively seeking a reason to tear down a player for whatever reason. But Jokic is absurdly good, and here's a recovery month, heh.

He was in the shooting slump after he had the period of the season when he wasn't taking shots in the game thats tradition by now with him. It seems that he's entering the new shooting slump now but this time it might be in connection with his eye injury.

Pure offensively I don’t see LeBron or MJ being better. Jokic plays like MyPlayer in 2k when you want to have S tier teammate score. Most efficient scorer ever while being arguably the best passer ever

I never saw either as having a good case for best offensive peak, but I agree Jokic comfortably clears them. And in terms of potential ceiling, he is so far beyond every other centre that if the goal is purely to make the best offence, there is no other choice for a starting point.

If you can comfortably say he is a GOAT level offensive player (which is fairly easy to proof as being up there) then all that is required is more seasons played and you get to a point where you would have to be elite or close to it on Defense with a combination of elite offense to best him. There is only 3-4 in history I could argue as having that.

I guess we just wait and see.
